West End:- 1 Swallow North, 1 Lapwing West, 3 Mandarin, 1 Kestrel.
West End:- 1 Swallow and 6 Sand Martins flew North, 2 Lapwings flew West, 3 Tufted Duck, 4 Mandarin, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Coots, 4 Canada Geese, 1 Reed Bunting, 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Herring Gull, 6 Buzzards, 2 Chaffinch, 1 Marsh Tit.
Dam End:- 3 Egyptian Goose, 2 Mandarin, 1 Mute Swan, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
South Bank:- 1 singing Blackcap, 15+ Singing Chiffchaffs, 3 Bullfinch.
West End:- 9 Tufted Duck, 6 Snipe.
North Bank:- 1 Green Woodpecker.
Study Area:-1 Small Tortoiseshell butterfly.
West End:- Great Egret, also Marsh Tit, Mistle Thrushes feeding young, several Chiffchaff and first House Martin of the year.
West End:- 4 Sand Martins, 3 Teal, 3 Mandarin, 2 Canada Geese, 1 Red Kite, 1 Buzzard, 2 Pied Wagtail, 7 Goldfinch, 4 Chaffinch, 4 singing Chiffchaffs, 1 Marsh Tit, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 2 Herring Gull, 3 Black-headed Gull.
Dam End:- Great 10 minutes when two Swallows and Sand Martin we’re feeding over the water – and a male Wheatear was in the paddock by the pumping station. Felt like spring even though it was cloudy.
West End:- 4 Chiffchaff, 2 Mandarin.
