West End:- 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 14 Lapwings, 1 Moorhen, 4 Mandarin, 2 Tufted Duck, 43 Great Crested Grebes, 6 Common Tern, 2 Bullfinch, 32 Mallard, 2 House Martin.

West End:- 53 Great Crested Grebes, 15 Lapwing, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Kingfisher, 14 Mandarin, 28 Mallard, 3 Moorhen, 1 Jay.
Whillet’s:- male Reed Bunting, 13 Long-tailed Tits including fledged young.
Reed Warbler singing at meadow pond, 2+ fledged Reed Warblers being fed by adults another pair taking food to nest plus a singing male.
15 Grass Snakes, 1 lizard, 1 Downy Emerald, 5 White-legged Damselflies, 1 Blue Tail Damselfly, 1 Red-eyed damselfly, 6 Large Red Damselfly and loads of Azures.
22 Meadow Brown, 7 Large Skipper, 3 Common Blue, 2 Red Admiral, 2 Small Tortoiseshell, 1 Speckled Wood, 1 Small White, 7 Burnett Campions.

Dam End:- 18 Greylag Goose, 20 Canada Goose, 10 Egyptian Goose — 2 adults, 8 young, 3 Mandarin Duck, 31 Mallard, 1 Tufted Duck, 1 Pheasant, 9 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Woodpigeon, 3 Swift, 1 Black-headed Gull, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 2 Common Tern, 4 Cormorant, 4 Grey Heron, 1 Common Buzzard, 1 Hobby, 3 Magpie, 13 Rook, 3 Carrion Crow, 3 Barn Swallow, 4 House Martin, 1 Common Chiffchaff, 1 Blackcap, 1 Wren, 1 Grey Wagtail, 6 Pied Wagtail, 2 Common Chaffinch.

Wood Lark breeding for the first recorded time. Common Terns, Little-ringed Plovers, Redshank, adult Little Gull, 3 Hobbies, lots of hirundines but fewer Swifts.

Dam End:-  1 Osprey seen at 13:30 for several minutes at mid-reservoir repeatedly harassed by 2 Great Black-backed Gulls and 2 Herring Gulls. It swooped for fish but being harassed didn’t catch any. A Hobby was feeding on mayflies rising early afternoon. A Cuckoo was heard. Mandarin with 4 young, Mallard with young. Egyptian Goose pair had 8 young goslings. Up to 3 juvenile Pied Wagtails along the water edge, a Garden Warbler was singing. Also a Small Tortoiseshell butterfly.
