West End / Hide (about 18:30-19:00):- 4 Common Tern, Pied Wagtail, 12 Great Crested Grebe, several Cormorant, 6 Mallard, Kingfisher, 1f + 9m Mandarin Duck, several Grey Heron, several Swallow, 2 Magpie, several Great Tit, Blue Tit (using nest box above picnic table), 2 Long-tailed Tit, Chaffinch, Dunnock, Robin, several Blackbird, 2 Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Treecreeper, Carrion Crow, several Woodpigeon, Black-headed Gull.

Dam End:- 11 Common Sandpipers, 1 Black Tern, 4 Common Tern, 2 Egyptian Geese, 1 Raven, 1 Red Kite, 6 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Mute Swan, 1m Grey Wagtail, 2 female Mallards with 3 & 4 young, 1 Green Woodpecker, 6 Common Whitethroats, 2 Blackcap, Robin family recently fledged, 1 Fox. Lagoon:- 1 Little Grebe, female Mallard with 6 young, 1 Reed Bunting.
South Bank:- Skylark singing behind fishing lodge.
West End:- 2 Hobby, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Tufted Duck, 3m Mandarins, 1 Kestrel, 1 Red Kite.

West End:- An immature Peregrine Falcon caught a Stock Dove, 1 Hobby, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 4 Buzzards, 2 Swifts, 10 House Martins, 10 Swallows, 2m+2f Tufted Duck, 2m Mandarin, 1 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Reed Buntings, 1 Jay, 90+ Herring Gulls, 4 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 1 Lapwing flew East, 1 Mute Swan flew high East, 7 Common Terns, pair of Pied Wagtails feeding fledged young.

Dam End:- 1 Common Sandpiper, 1m Reed Bunting.
Whillet’s:- 1m Greenfinch, pair Garden Warblers, 1 singing Reed Bunting and several Reed Warblers in the Reed Bed,1 Kingfisher,1 Grass Snake.

West End:- at the car park hide (09.45-10.47) 2 Canada Geese, 24 Great Crested Grebe – 2 on nests, 23 Mallard 12m+2f+9 juveniles, 31 Cormorants, 15 Grey Heron, 4 Common Tern on rafts, 2 Coot, 3 Pheasant, 2 Stock Dove, 1 Magpie, 1 Wren, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Pied Wagtail, 2 Dunnock, 2 Great Tit on feeders, numerous Woodpigeon.

WEST END: 3 Mandarin, 2 pairs of Tufted Duck, pair of Buzzard giving flight displays, 1 Coot, 11 Common Tern, 1 GS Woodpecker, 1 Swallow, 1 Pied Wagtail, 2 Blackcap, 2 LT Tit, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Treecreeper, unusually a male House Sparrow was seen in the Car Park under feeders, 2 Goldfinch, a couple of GC Grebe nests were noted, Some of the Grey Heron and Cormorants nesting with heronry area now have well grown young.   WHILLET’S: several Reed Warbler and a Reed Bunting are in the reed bed area.
