West End:- 12 Snipe, 3 Green Sandpiper, 2 Kingfisher, 2 Little Grebes, 15 Teal, 3 Tufted Duck, 6 Gadwall, 8 Mandarin, 2 Grey Wagtail, 1 Pied Wagtail, 1 Common Gull, 207 Black-headed Gull, 3 Chaffinch, 1 Goldfinch, 1 Fieldfare, 1 Marsh Tit, 96 Starlings flew south, 180 Woodpigeon flew south and 200+ flock of Jackdaws flew north.

Walked along North bank this morning to see if I could find any Hawfinches at the Hornbeam wood near the picnic area; but an hour looking over the wood produced none.
 
There was a pheasant shoot on nearby fields at West End this morning. The noise frightened off most of the ducks & geese.

West End late afternoon 14/11:-  The highlight was unusually 2 Daubenton’s bats seen flying over the water feeding, light levels still being good enough to get views.

Dam End:- The work party saw a flock of 50+ Fieldfare fly over, and a Pied Wagtail.

West End:- 1m Pintail, 6 Gadwall, 40 Teal, 28 Mallard, 4 Mandarin, 8 Tufted Duck, 2 Little Grebes, 5 Snipe, 3 Green Sandpiper, 2 Great Black-backed Gulls, 28 Lapwing, 8 Moorhen, 1 Coot, 126 Greylag Geese, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Fieldfare, 2 Coal Tits, 2 Chaffinch, 2 Goldfinch, 1 Raven, 1m Sparrowhawk, 1 Buzzard.

Ringing this morning saw a range of species including: Wrens, Blue Tits, Coal Tits, Goldcrests, Bullfinches, Chaffinch, Long-tailed Tits and Great Spotted Woodpeckers (both males).
