West End :- 11 x Canada Goose, 2 x Egyptian Goose, 11 x Mandarin Duck, 5 x Mallard, 1 x Mallard (Domestic type), 6 x Eurasian Teal, 16 x Common Pochard, 4 x Tufted Duck, 2 x Common Pheasant, 9 x Stock Dove, 1 x Common Moorhen, 1 x Eurasian Coot, 1 x Great Crested Grebe, 23 x Great Cormorant, 1 x Little Egret, 36 x Grey Heron, 5 x Common Magpie, 8 x Carrion Crow, 1 x Marsh Tit, 8 x Eurasian Blue Tit, 3 x Great Tit, 1 x Eurasian Wren, 1 x European Robin, 1 x Dunnock, 1 x Common Chaffinch, 3 x European Goldfinch

West End :- a dawn arrival produced both Great and a Little Egret around the busy heronry. The male Goosander was amongst the collection of duck plus 2 Mandarin today. On the feeders still Marsh and a Coal Tit and overhead a Red Kite. A Great spotted Woodpecker was drumming in the c/pk whilst a Nuthatch was investigating the nest ox there.

Dam End :- a few Jays and 3 Mistle Thrushes on the dam whilst on the generally quiet water a single Common Gull plus a Black-headed and a gorgeous adult Mediterranean Gull that gave its presence away with its call, it eventually settled on the aerator. No idea what it’s doing here.

West End :- early afternoon onwards produced the usual duck collection also it was very nice to have another sighting of a female Goshawk at the west end disappearing towards Admiral’s Wood. A pair of Goosanders were still around plus the Great Egret was noted along the south bank looking from the north bank footpath. On the feeders a pair of Marsh Tits joined the usual cast. A very pleasant time today. I left at about 15:40.

West End :- 2 Goosander (m & f), 2 Wigeon, still good numbers of Pochard and Tufted, 2 Teal, 25 Redwing, 6 Fieldfare in field on the left beyond study area, Goshawk as was leaving at 12:45

West End :-2 x Canada Goose, 2 x Egyptian Goose, 2 x Gadwall, 2 x Eurasian Wigeon, 6 x Mallard, 11 x Common Pochard, 8 x Tufted Duck (7M, 1F), 2 x Goosander (1M, 1F), 3 x Common Pheasant, 5 x Stock Dove, 8 x Common Woodpigeon, 2 x Common Moorhen, 1 x Eurasian Coot, 26 x Great Cormorant, 32 x Grey Heron, 1 x Common Buzzard, 1 x Common Kingfisher, 1 x Carrion Crow, 13 x Eurasian Blue Tit, 3 x Great Tit, 3 x Long-tailed Tit, 1 x European Robin, 2 x Dunnock, 3 x Common Chaffinch, 3 x European Goldfinch

West End (Late AM):- 230+ Brent Geese flew high east. 1 Peregrine, 2 Sparrowhawk, 16 Pochards, 11 Wigeon, 9 Tufted but no Goosander or egrets. 2 Canada Geese investigating one of the rafts, 2 Marsh Tits one has a distinctive white tail.

West End (afternoon):- 1 Great White & 1 Little Egret, 2m Mandarin, 16 Wigeon, 3 Gadwall, 19 Pochard, 9 Tufted Duck, 49 Cormorants.

West End:- 3x Goosander (2M, 1F), 7 Gadwall, 5 Snipe took off from Pintail Bank, All the usual ducks present: Teal, Gadwall, Wigeon, Tufted, Pochard, Mandarin and Mallard.
Whillet’s:- 2 Water rail heard calling.

West End :- 1 x Canada Goose, 4 x Egyptian Goose, 4 x Gadwall, 13 x Eurasian Wigeon, 10 x Mallard, 15 x Eurasian Teal, 19 x Common Pochard, 10 x Tufted Duck, 2 x Common Pheasant, 1 x Stock Dove, 2 x Common Woodpigeon, 1 x Eurasian Coot, 1 x Lesser Black-backed Gull, 4 x Great Crested Grebe, 15 x Great Cormorant, 2 x Little Egret, 9 x Grey Heron, 1 x Great Spotted Woodpecker, 4 x Common Magpie, 8 x Eurasian Blue Tit, 4 x Great Tit, 1 x Eurasian Nuthatch, 1 x Eurasian Blackbird, 2 x European Robin, 1 x Common Chaffinch

West End (Late morning) :- pair of Goosanders, Red Kite, 2 Buzzards, Jay, 23 Pochards, 17 Wigeons, 9 Teal, 4 Tufted duck, 2 Gadwall, 2 Little Grebes, 7 Great Crested Grebe, 4 Coot, 6 Moorhen, Water rail (heard), 34 Canada geese, 1 Greylag, Song Thrush, 2 Marsh tit, Bullfinch (heard) and Mandarin (heard).
