West End:- 2 Dunlin, 1 Ringed Plover, 3 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Greenshank.

Whillet’s:- 1 Goshawk flyover, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Grey Wagtail, 2 Blackcap, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Coal Tit, 2 Blue Tit, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Jay, 1 Greenfinch, 1 Bullfinch, 1m Reed Bunting.  Also 1 Roe Deer, 1 Mink, 6 Grass Snakes, 1 Slow Worm.
Dragonflies: 1 Southern Hawker, 1 Brown Hawker.
Butterfly transect count: 5m+3f  Common Blue, 3 Comma, 2 Speckled Wood, 1 Small Tortoiseshell,  9 Meadow Brown, 2 Small Copper, 3 Small Heath, 5 Green-veined White, 2 Large White, 2 Small White.

Osprey over dam end mid-morning, caught a fish then flew off towards Ashdown

West End:- early morning and it seems that the Cattle Egrets have moved on. 2 Greenshank, 2 Green Sandpiper, 4 Common Sandpiper, Little Ringed Plover juvenile and 10 Teal.
Dam End:- Swift and Common Sandpiper.

West End:- 80 Greylag Goose, 8 Canada Goose, 7 Egyptian Goose, 2 Mandarin Duck, 90 Mallard, 7 Teal, 1 Pheasant, 12 Great Crested Grebe, 11 Woodpigeon, 5 Moorhen, 31 Lapwing, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Greenshank, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, 12  Cormorant, 12 Grey Heron, 4 Little Egret, 3 Cattle Egret (feeding on southend of Pintail, where the stock doves usually feed;  yellow bill and black legs mark them as non-breeding adults), 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 4 Magpie, 100 Jackdaw, 75 Rook, 1 Marsh Tit, 2 Barn Swallow, 12 House Martin, 1 Chiffchaff, 5 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Dunnock, 12 Pied Wagtail.

West End:- 3 Cattle Egret, 3 Little Egret, 16 Grey Heron, 1 Greenshank, 2 Green Sandpiper, 3 Common Sandpiper, 3 Little Ringed Plover, 41 Lapwing, 10 Teal, 159 Mallard, 5 Mandarin Duck, 8 Egyptian Geese, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, 6 Swallow, 1 Buzzard, 400 Jackdaw, 1 Raven, 255 Black-headed Gull.

West End:- 3 Cattle Egrets with Little Egrets and Grey Herons, 2 Greenshank, 4 Common Sandpiper and 2 Green Sandpiper. The Cattle Egrets are a first for me here.

West End:- 16 Grey Heron, 3 Little Egret, 142 Mallard, 7 Egyptian Geese, 50+ Greylag, 1 Teal, 3 Mandarin, 43 Lapwing, 3 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Greenshank, 1 Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 Dunlin, 1 Buzzard, 1 Moorhen, 50+ Black-headed Gull, 4 Swallow, 9 House Martin, 31 Pied Wagtail, 100+ Jackdaw and 50+ Rook.
