I watched from the hide for about an hour this afternoon.   There were several  Great Crested Grebes together with what I took to be a Red-necked Grebe in the area of  the Tern rafts . It was noticeably smaller with a less contrasting head pattern, grey  neck  and  a pale patch on the flanks. It would be good  if someone else could check the ID. The solitary Green Sandpiper still on the far bank. Thank you for providing  the feeders and caring for this beautiful spot. [Thank you Sharifin for appreciaing the work of the Friends. The Red-necked Grebe was also seen at the Dam End and reported on Birdguides. Tom.]
