    Dam End:- Early morning in the light rain; the Little Ringed Plover remains. At the pumping station the Black Redstart was seen, a nice male. Also 2 Blackcaps and a Swallow.

    Dam End:- 3 Canada Goose, 3 Pheasant, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 31 Woodpigeon, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Cormorant, 2 Kestrel, 43 Rook, 2 Blue Tit, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap, 1 Wren, 1 Blackbird, 1 Robin, 2 Grey Wagtail, 3 Pied Wagtail.

    Dam End:- Male Blackcap singing in sailing club park, 6 Black-headed Gull, 4 Chiffchaff, 1 Jay, 1 Mistle Thrush, 2 House Sparrows in ploughed field.
    West End:- Male Peregrine, 6 Buzzards, 1 Kestrel, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 1 Collard Dove flew across reservoir twice.

    Dam End:- Adult Black Redstart on dam, 1 Little Ringed Plover.

    Dam End:- 1 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Egyptian Geese, 2 Grey Wagtails, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Black -headed Gulls.
    West End:- 2 Mute Swans,1 Swallow, 2 Greylags, 2 Pied Wagtails.

    2 Swallows braving the cold northerly breeze.
    At 10:35 my 3rd Osprey sighting so far this year at the west end.

    West End:-  1 Champagne Fulvous Whistling Duck (escaped bird), 3 Gadwall, 3 Mandarin, 1 Moorhen, 2 Mute Swan, 2 Egyptian Geese, at least 2 Cormorant nests have young, 1 Swallow, 5 Dunnock, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Coal Tit, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Jay, 2 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Chaffinch.
    Whillets:-  2 Red Kite, 1 very light coloured Buzzard, Water Rail and Moorhen heard in reed-bed, Green Woodpecker heard, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Treecreeper, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Long-tailed Tit at nest.
    Also: 2+ Bee flies, 1 Toad, 1 Smooth Newt.

    1 Fulvous Whistling Duck — Silver variety. Presumed escape. Heard calling in flight “kee che” (repeated). Silver grey body, black bill, brown/black strip down back of neck, white tips to primaries. 4 Greylag Goose, 4 Canada Goose, 1 Mandarin Duck, 12 Mallard, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Woodpigeon, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 40 Cormorant, 3 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Carrion Crow, 6 Blue Tit, 2 Great Tit, 2 Barn Swallow, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Wren, 1 Dunnock, 1 Chaffinch, 3 Goldfinch.

    Early Weir Wood was grey and gloomy but some birds were on the move. 2 Sand and a House Martin over the water and several Meadow Pipits passing over. Also Raven and Red Kite.

    Dam End:- male Hen Harrier flew in from the west end along the north bank and over the pumping station.
