The following information was provided by the BTO about a male Blackcap that was re-trapped in France:-The bird was originally ringed at Weirwood on 15/09/2019, as a juvenile bird. It was re-trapped in Res, Biol. De La Mailloueyre, Landes, France on 09/10/2022. A distance of 775km between the two sites. However, I think it would be fair to assume the bird has completed a number of migratory journeys between the two dates.
