    West End:- 2 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Little Egret, 1f Red Crested Pochard, 2 Pochard, 2 Mute Swan, 6 Coot, 47 Barnacle Geese, 19 Tufted Duck, 6 Teal, 6 Wigeon, 4 Snipe, 30+ Lapwing, 1 Stock Dove, 3 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Marsh Tit, 2 Coal Tit, 1 Nuthatch, 2 Chaffinch.

    West End:- Heronry 31 Heron and 10 Cormorant nests are under construction or in use, 1 Little Egret, 2 Mute Swan, 2 Coot, 13 Wigeon, 27 Tufted Duck, 7 Pochard, 1 Teal.
    Dam End:- 30+ Common Gull and 100+ Black-headed Gull were early arrivals at the gull roost. On the field behind the sailing club, a mixed flock of 15+ Fieldfare and 35+ Redwing were feeding.

    Whillet’s:-  60 Reed Bunting went into the reed-bed between 15:10 and 17:00 with the first bird not entering the roost until 16:00. Interestingly they were coming up and feeding on the seed heads and were the expected mix of both males & females.
    2 Water Rail heard, Sparrowhawk flew over (not hunting), Green and Great Spotted Woodpecker heard, 2 Song Thrush heard, 11 Redwing flew over and went to roost in the trees along the river. No Starlings seen.
    West End:- very quick look – flock of Barnacle Geese by Pintail bank, the usual Pochard, Tufted Duck and 2 Mute Swan are still around.

    West End:- 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Little Egret, 2 Mute Swan, many Cormorant and Grey Heron at heronry, Barnacle Goose flock, groups of Greylag and Canada Goose (not counted), 2 Egyptian Geese,  1m Mandarin, pair of Wigeon, 1m Gadwall, 1m+2f Pintail, 6 Pochard, 23 Tufted Duck,   1 Moorhen, 3 Coot, c30 Lapwing. Also 2 Buzzards at Whillet’s.
