West End:- 2 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Little Egret, 1f Red Crested Pochard, 2 Pochard, 2 Mute Swan, 6 Coot, 47 Barnacle Geese, 19 Tufted Duck, 6 Teal, 6 Wigeon, 4 Snipe, 30+ Lapwing, 1 Stock Dove, 3 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Marsh Tit, 2 Coal Tit, 1 Nuthatch, 2 Chaffinch.

West End:- Heronry 31 Heron and 10 Cormorant nests are under construction or in use, 1 Little Egret, 2 Mute Swan, 2 Coot, 13 Wigeon, 27 Tufted Duck, 7 Pochard, 1 Teal.
Dam End:- 30+ Common Gull and 100+ Black-headed Gull were early arrivals at the gull roost. On the field behind the sailing club, a mixed flock of 15+ Fieldfare and 35+ Redwing were feeding.

Dam End:- 29 Pied Wagtail, 5 Bullfinch, 5 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Mistle Thrush, 2 Goldfinch, 3 Blackbird, 1 Herring Gull, 7 Black-headed Gull, 5 Mallard, 1 Treecreeper.
West End:- 49 Tufted Duck, 14 Wigeon, 9 Common Pochard, 6 Teal, 2 Wood Duck, 2 Mandarin Duck, 2 Gadwall, 7 Egyptian Geese, 4 Canada Geese, 13 Greylag Geese, 51 Barnacle Geese, 9 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Black-headed Gull, 2 Chaffinch, 1 Marsh Tit.

West End:- late afternoon 1 Common Shelduck,45 Tufted Duck,14 Wigeon,9 Common Pochard,4 Gadwall,4 Mandarin Duck,3f Wood Duck, 6 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 2 Mute Swan, 2 Egyptian Geese, 4 Canada Geese, 18 Greylag Geese, 51 Barnacle Geese, 21 Mallard, 6 Fieldfare, 1 Buzzard.

West End:- (Car Park.12.40-13.43). 2 Mute Swan. 11 Greylag Geese. 9 Canada Geese. 1 Egyptian Goose.12 Wigeon 7m 5f. 15 Teal. 8 Mallard. 15 Tufted. 5 Pochard. 1 feral duck. 5 Great Crested Grebe. 5 Coot. 19 Cormorant. 17 Grey Heron. Around feeders. 6 Blue Tit. 2 Great Tit. 2 Coal Tit. 1 Marsh Tit. 3 Long-tailed Tit. 1 Nuthatch. 2 Stock Dove. 2 Chaffinch 1m 1f. 2 Goldfinch. 2 Dunnock. 1 Robin. 1 Blackbird f.

Whillet’s:-  60 Reed Bunting went into the reed-bed between 15:10 and 17:00 with the first bird not entering the roost until 16:00. Interestingly they were coming up and feeding on the seed heads and were the expected mix of both males & females.
2 Water Rail heard, Sparrowhawk flew over (not hunting), Green and Great Spotted Woodpecker heard, 2 Song Thrush heard, 11 Redwing flew over and went to roost in the trees along the river. No Starlings seen.
West End:- very quick look – flock of Barnacle Geese by Pintail bank, the usual Pochard, Tufted Duck and 2 Mute Swan are still around.  

West End:- (08:22 – 09:10) 13 Canada Goose, 43 Barnacle Goose, 1 Greylag Goose, 1 Gadwall, 11 Wigeon, 19 Mallard, 2 Teal, 1 Red-crested Pochard, 8 Pochard, 32 Tufted Duck, 3 Stock Dove, 5 Coot, 12 Cormorant, 19 Grey Heron, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Magpie, 1 Coal Tit, 1 Marsh Tit, 8 Blue Tit, 2 Great Tit, 3 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Song Thrush, 3 Blackbird, 2 Robin, 2 Dunnock, 5 Chaffinch, 1 Goldfinch.

West End:- 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Little Egret, 2 Mute Swan, many Cormorant and Grey Heron at heronry, Barnacle Goose flock, groups of Greylag and Canada Goose (not counted), 2 Egyptian Geese,  1m Mandarin, pair of Wigeon, 1m Gadwall, 1m+2f Pintail, 6 Pochard, 23 Tufted Duck,   1 Moorhen, 3 Coot, c30 Lapwing. Also 2 Buzzards at Whillet’s.

West End:- 23 Tufted Duck, 8 Common Pochard, 6 Teal, 2 Gadwall, 1 Moorhen, 5 Coot, 9 Wigeon, 17 Mallard, 2 Mute Swan, 3 Egyptian Geese, 11 Canada Geese, 27 Greylag Geese, 51 Barnacle Geese, 1 Red Kite, 1 Buzzard, 1 Little Egret, 26 Grey Heron, 2 Coal Tit, 1 Marsh Tit, 2 Goldfinch, 1 Chaffinch, 1 Lapwing, 1 Black-headed Gull.
