West End:- a male Honey Buzzard was being mobbed by Common Terns as it flew very low over the water.

Dam End:- 2 Lapwing flew towards west end, 5 Swift, 1 male Sparrowhawk.
Whillet’s:- Butterflies: 3 Small Copper, 2 Common Blue, 1 Speckled Wood, 1 Green-veined White, 1 Peacock, 5 Burnet Campion, 2 Mother Shipton moths.
Dragonflies: 1 Emperor Dragonfly, 1 Broad-bodied Chaser.
Damselflies: 1 White-legged, 1 Blue-tailed, 10 Large Red, 50+ Azure, 2 Beautiful Demoiselle. -

West End:- 1 White Stork NNE over at 3pm, 2 Black-headed Gull, 6 Common Tern, 1 Red Kite, 2 Reed Bunting, 12 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Swift, Mallard + 3 young, 12 Canada Geese, 2 Coot, 1 Garden Warbler, 34 Greylag Geese, 2 Swallow.
Dam End:- 1 Black-headed Gull, 9 Common Tern, 6 Mute Swan, 4 Red Kite, 1 Kestrel, 5 Swift, 1 Sparrowhawk, 4 Pied Wagtail, 1 Jay, 8 House Martin, 12 Herring Gull, 1 Goldfinch. -

West End:- Osprey fishing at 19:20 then flew west carrying a fish, 4 pairs of Common Tern,1 pair of Black-headed Gull breeding on rafts, 16 Great Crested Grebe.

West End:- Another beautiful day with brilliant birds, adult Little Gull and adult Black Tern from the north bank at 11:30, over the West End car park a little later a fantastic male Honey Buzzard.

Dam End:- Osprey from the dam at 7:30, 3 Common Sandpiper on the dam, group of Common Terns and a noisy Raven. In the car park several singing Goldcrests and a couple of Garden Warblers.
