Dam End:- 3 Common Tern, 1 House Martin, 8 Swallow, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, 3 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Herring Gull, 2 Tufted Duck, 4 Mandarin, 2 Egyptian Geese, 2 Pied Wagtail, 1 Kestrel and 35 rook nests in rookery by sailing club.

Dam End:- Osprey from the dam at 12:50, Common Sandpiper.
West End:- Kingfisher, male Shoveller, 8 Tufted Duck, Grey Herons and Cormorants busy in the nesting trees.

Dam End:- 1 Stonechat behind dam, 1 Little Grebe at lagoon.

West End:- (Car park 12.30-13.41) 22 Canada Geese. 1 Greylag Goose. 1 Mute Swan. 4 Mallard. 5 Great Crested Grebe. 4 Coot. 35 Cormorant. 37 Grey Heron. 1 Pheasant. 2 Stock Dove. 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker m. 1 Nuthatch. 4 Blue Tit. 2 Great Tit. 1 Marsh Tit. 1 Blackbird f. 2 Dunnock. 1 Blackcap m. 1 Chiffchaff. 1 Reed Bunting m.

West End:- 1 Raven flew north, 3 Mute Swan, 1 Tufted Duck, 4 Coot.

Whillet’s:- Blackcap and Chiffchaff singing, 3 Buzzard, 2 Long-tailed Tit, 2 Jay, 1 Treecreeper.
Also Red Admiral and Comma butterflies. Early Dog Violet in flower.
West End:- Coot pairs and a pair of Mute Swans have started nesting. The heronry has increasing numbers of Grey Heron and Cormorant young showing at nests. Their constant begging calls can be heard from the road.
Drake Teal, 3 Mandarin, 2 Egyptian Geese, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Goldcrest and 1 Marsh Tit.

West End:- A beautiful day. Kingfishers mating, Red-legged Partridge put in an appearance.
Dam End:- Little Ringed Plover, Grey Wagtails mating, a superb Osprey at 7:25 flew to the west end and Yellow Wagtail over north at 7:50.
