West End: Afternoon visit – Almost totally frozen with only some open water to the far side out from Pintail bank point: 137 Greylag, 3M+2F Mandarin, 1 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk (seen by others), 1 Fieldfare, 1 Kingfisher, 3 LT Tit, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Nuthatch.

West End – Pintail bank: 4 Snipe, 8 Stock Dove, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Song Thrush.

Dam End: Also partially frozen mainly on the West side. 1 Grey Heron, pair of Wigeon, 5M+1F Tufted Duck,8 LT Tit, 1 Goldcrest.  Start of Gull Roost  c450 BH Gull, 5+ Common Gull, 5+ Herring Gull.

West End – Car Park (10.35-12.00):- Reservoir frozen to Pintail Point with the odd pool of open water near bushes 29 Greylag Geese, 1 Hybrid Goose, 40 Cormorant, 1 Little Grebe, 10 Teal, 5 Mallard, 39 Black-headed Gull, 2 Common Gull, 1 Herring Gull, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Pied Wagtail, 2 Stock Dove, 14 Lapwing. On the feeders:- 1 m Great Spotted Woodpecker, 12 Blue Tit, 2 Coal Tit, 1 Great Tit, 2 Nuthatch, 1 Marsh Tit, 2 Goldfinch,  2 Chaffinch, 1 Goldcrest, I Robin.
In the fields behind the car park:- 6 Song Thrush, 1 Red-legged Partridge.

West End: 1 Little Grebe, 1M Wigeon, 2 Tufted Duck, (Teal,  Gadwall & Mallard seen – no counts taken), 40+ Lapwing, 100+ Greylag, a few Canada Geese, 1 Feral Magpie Duck, 1 Pied Wagtail, 1 probable Snipe on Pintail bank.

Whillets Reed-bed:  117 Reed Bunting came in to roost between 15:15 and 16:30, 1 Kingfisher, 2 flyover Grey Heron, 1 Buzzard, Green Wooodpecker & Stock Dove heard, c.60 Starling flock flew over.

North Bank: 1 Kingfisher, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Bullfinch, Flock of Long Tailed Tit.

Dam end: 54 GC Grebe, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Grey Wagtail, Feral Magpie Duck, 1 Kingfisher.

West End: 2 Little Grebe, 144 Greylag, 26 Canada Geese, 4 + 8 flyover Mandarin, 37 Gadwall, 42 Teal, 25 Mallard, 19 Pheasant, 6 Moorhen, 48 Lapwing, 4 Stock Dove, 2 GS Woodpecker, 2 Coal Tit, 1 Nuthatch.

3 Black-headed Gull, 1 Blackbird, 3+ Blue Tit, 1 Chaffinch, 1 Coal Tit, 1 Coot, 2 Cormorant, 8 Gadwall, 1 Goldfinch, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 3+ Great Tit, 120+ Greylag Goose, 3 Herring Gull, 1 Kingfisher, c50 Lapwing, 1 Little Grebe, 5 Mallard, 1 Marsh Tit, 3 Moorhen, 1 Robin, 33 Teal, 1 Magpie Duck.

West End:- 2 Little Grebe, 138 Greylag, 1 hybrid Canada Goose, 18 Gadwall, 30 Teal, 13 Mallard, 1 Magpie Duck, 1f Pochard, 1 Buzzard, 9 Moorhen, 47 Lapwing, 2 Common Gull, 2 Herring Gull, 4 Stock Dove, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Treecreeper.

West End:- 5 Little Grebes, 51 Lapwing, 2 Mandarin, 13 Gadwall, 22 Teal, 16 Fieldfare.

Whillet’s:- 140 Reed Buntings roosted in reed bed between 15:00-16:10. 17 Teal flying around, 150 Starlings flew over, 1 Redwing, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Marsh Tit.
West End:- 23 Gadwall, 3 Shoveler, 25 Teal, 1m Tufted Duck, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Fieldfare, 7 Common Gulls, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1m Kestrel.

West End:- 4m Pochard, 3m+1f Tufted Duck, 29 Teal, 13 Gadwall, 1f Shoveler, 1 Marsh Tit, 14 Lapwing, 3 Stock Dove.
