Dam end:-   30 GC Grebe, 44 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron,  1 sub-adult Mute Swan, 24 Greylag, 120 Canada Geese, 2 Egyptian Geese  (All geese seen feeding in field behind Sailing Club) , 8 Mallard, 1M Tufted Duck, 1 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 1 Buzzard, 1 Dunlin on dam wall, 65 BH Gull, 4 Common Gull, 20 Herring Gull, 1 Pied Wagtail, 4 Crow.

West end: 1 Lapwing (flew SW), 3 Snipe (flew SW), 12 Tufted Duck, 6 Wigeon, 15 Teal, 2 Shoveler, 2 Gadwall, 10 Mallard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 20+ Chaffinch, 6 Dunnock, 1 Marsh Tit, 4 Common Gull, 2 GC Grebe, 4 Redwing, 8 Greylag, 1 Buzzard, 2 GS Woodpecker.

Whillet’s:- 1f Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Barn Owl, 1 Water Rail, 6 Lesser Redpolls, 1 Siskin, 2 Treecreepers, 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers, 1 Goldfinch, 5 Bullfinch, 1 Kestrel, 3 Buzzards, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Long-Tailed Tits.
West End:- 3m 2f Shoveler, 5m 2f Gadwall, 13 Mallard, 1 Coot, 1 Little Grebe, 1f Brambling, 7 Chaffinch, 1 Marsh Tit, 1m Sparrowhawk, 3 Rooks.
Dam End:- 91 Canada Geese, 60 Greylag Geese, 1 Mute Swan, 45 Fieldfare, 2 Common Gull.

West End:- 12 Gadwall, 3 Siskin, 1 Brambling.

West End:- 28 Cormorant (1 active nest),  30 active Grey Heron nests, 2 Canada Geese, 12 Gadwall, 2m+1f Tufted Duck, 5 Mallard, 2 Moorhen, 1 Common Gull.

While the road is closed at Whillet’s Bridge we are concentrating on tasks at the Dam End. This week the work party was building new benches in the picnic area. We are still doing our routine jobs at the car park and hide including clearing litter, filling the bird feeders and updating the sightings list. Photo by Mick Myszyn.

West End:- 2 Raven, 3 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Greenfinch, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Common Gull, 1 Marsh Tit.
Whillet’s Pool:- 2 Kingfisher.

West End:- Water Rail in front of lay-by,1 Brambling under feeders
