Whillets:- 1 Kingfisher, 15 Redwing, 1 Song Thrush, 3 Long-tailed Tit.
West End:- 1 Brent Goose on the water before flying off South West, 300 Greylag Geese, 3 white farmyard geese, 1 Canada/Greylag hybrid, 1 all black with a white chest feral hybrid Mallard, 19 Mandarin, 2m+1f Gadwall, 1 Buzzard.
Feeders:- 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Nuthatch, 2+ Goldfinch with the usual Blue and Great Tits. -

West End: – c.10 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Little Grebe, 19 Cormorant, 268 Greylag + 1 Canada/Greylag hybrid and 3 white feral farmyard geese, 3 Egyptian Geese, c.10 Mandarin, 20 Mallard, 2 Moorhen, 1 Coot, 2 Common Gull, 1 Greater Black-backed Gull, 15+ Black-headed Gull, 7 Stock Dove, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Pied Wagtail flyovers, 21+ 35 flyover Redwing, 3 Goldcrest, 2 Marsh Tit, 1 Coal Tit, 8+ Blue Tit, 1 Nuthatch, 2 Starling flyover, 1 Chaffinch, 7 Goldfinch.
Also 1 Noctule Bat – seen (late morning) flying high over the water feeding. -

Whillet’s:- 1f Stonechat, 23 Goldfinch, 3 Lesser Redpoll, 18 Siskin, 3 Reed Bunting, 3 Meadow Pipit, 43 Redwing, 6 Song Thrush, 10 Blackbird, 1 Goldcrest, 4 Bullfinch, 1 Starling, 3 Greenfinch, 3 Chaffinch, 1 Kingfisher, 95 Woodpigeon.

Whillet’s:- Reed-bed counts from 14:40 to 16:45 ~ 75 Reed Buntings roosted over this period mainly singles but up to 4 in a group, 46 Starlings roosted in flocks of 4, 40 and 2 (more groups flew over but kept going north possibly towards Hedgecourt reed-bed).
Within the reed-bed a Water Rail and Moorhen were heard, 2 Kingfishers were seen flying over the reed-bed and along the river.
In the trees were a feeding flock of about 15 Siskin, 3 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, Nuthatch heard, 1 Goldfinch, at dusk 2 Song Thrushes were singing loudly, and a pair of Tawny Owls were calling to each other, plus another was heard calling further away. Pheasants heard & seen roosting in the trees.
Flyovers: Black-headed Gulls, Crows, 1 Grey Heron, quite a few Redwings with biggest flock of 4, 3 Song Thrushes, 150+ flock of Woodpigeons headed West, 2 Buzzards, 4 flocks of Mandarin (6, 6, 5 + 2 = 19) heading North at dusk to roost elsewhere. -

West End:- Study Area visit ~ 2 Bullfinches, 1 female Blackcap.
Car Park: 13 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Grey Heron, 180 Greylag + 1 Greylag hybrid, 1m Sparrowhawk, 1 Moorhen, 37 Black-headed Gull, 2 Stock Dove.
Feeders: Marsh Tit, Nuthatch, 4 Goldfinch, Blue and Great Tits.
Whillet’s:- Water Rail and Moorhen heard, 2 Song Thrush, Chaffinch, 4 Wren, 8 Long-tailed Tits, Raven heard. 2 Common Darter Dragonflies. -

Dam End (09:48-10:05):- 11 Canada Geese, 27 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Mallard 1m 1f, 1 Cormorant, 3 Grey Heron, 2 Black-headed Gull, 1 Carrion Crow, 3 Meadow Pipit, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Pied Wagtail.
West End Car Park (10:20-11:26):- 98 Greylag Geese, 18 Great Crested Grebe,1 Little Grebe, 18 Mallard 12m 6f, 1 Moorhen, 11 Cormorant, 69 Black-headed Gull, 11 Lapwing overflying, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Pheasant, 1 Treecreeper, 3 Chaffinch, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Robin.
On feeders:- 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 3 Great Tit, 2 Blue Tit, 1 Coal Tit, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Nuthatch, 2 Goldfinch. Also numerous Carrion Crow and Woodpigeon. -
