Great White Egret and 1 Redshank.

North Bank:- Nightingale singing on path before Hormbeam wood.

West End:- About 9:30 am an Osprey flew over, 1 male Bullfinch, 5 Whitethroats with one carrying food, 4 Canada Geese, 18 Greylag + a pair with 5 young, Mallard pair with 7 chicks, pair of Mandarin, 1 Kingfisher, 7 pairs of Common Terns appear to be nesting on rafts.   Dragonflies: 1 probable Banded Demoiselle.
Whillet’s:- Butterflies – 5 Small Heath, 1 Peacock, 1 Common Blue, 1 Large White.
Dragonflies:-  pair of Broad-bodied Chasers, 1f Hairy Dragonfly ovipositing, 1 probable Four Spotted Chaser reported, 1 Blue-tailed Damselfly, 3+ Large Red Damselfly including an ovipositing pair.  20+ Azure Damseflies, several Beautiful Demoiselle.
11 Grass Snakes on refugia survey, 1 Fallow Deer, Hornet.

North Bank:- Male Goshawk, 2 Red Kites, 1 Raven and 5 Common Terns chasing a Great White Egret off.

Greenshank and Red Kite.

West End:- 1 Little Grebe, 17 Great Crested Grebe with 2 pairs starting to nest, 67 Cormorant, 12 Grey Heron, 1 Mute Swan, 1 Greylag, 13 Canada Geese, 2 Egyptian Geese, Pair of Mandarin, 16 Mallard, 3 Buzzard, 1 immature Herring Gull being mobbed by 14 Common Terns from the rafts, 1 Stock Dove, 1 Swallow, 2 Pied Wagtail, Reed Warbler heard in front of viewing area, pair of Whitethroats.
Whillet’s:- Great Spotted Woodpecker heard, 1 Kingfisher, at least 2 Whitethroat, Bullfinch, Reed Warbler, Garden Warbler, Blackcap and Chiffchaff all heard. 2 Beautiful Demoiselle. At meadow pond – 1 Large Red Damselfly, 7+ Azure Damselflies, both Palmate and Smooth Newt and a Greater Diving Beetle.
Butterflies – Pair of Orange Tip, 1 Peacock, 1 Brimstone, 3 Small Copper, 2 Green-veined White.
Moths – Wood Carpet Moth.
1/6/21 – Work Party – Speckled Wood.

West End:- Kingfisher, 10 Great Crested Grebe, Mallard, 6 Heron, Swan, 4 Black-headed Gulls, 9 Cormorants.
Dam End:- Yellowhammer, 3 Buzzards, 2 Whitethroat, Common Tern, Skylark, Magpie, 2 Crows.

Whillet’s:- 6 Ravens, 1m Yellowhammer, 2 Garden Warblers, 6 Reed Warblers.
3 Grass Snakes,1 White-legged Damselfly,1 female Beautiful Demoiselle,1 Hairy Dragonfly,1 Small Tortoiseshell,2 Green-Veined White, 2 Brimstone, 2 Orange Tips and 6 Small Coppers.

West End:- 15 Common Terns on rafts.

West End (13.06-14.06):- 10 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag Goose, 4 Mallard, 1 Mandarin m, 5 Great Crested Grebe, 37 Cormorants, 21 Grey Heron, 8 Common Tern, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Swallow, 2 Goldfinch, 1 Whitethroat, 1 Jackdaw, 1 Carrion Crow, 1 Buzzard.
