Osprey seen from the picnic area, first Willow Warbler near there. Several Blackcaps and more Chiffchaffs. A pair of Little Ringed Plover on the dam.

West End:- This could be a bumper year for Ospreys. Another has just flown over at 13:45. Also 3 Swallows, 2 Blackcaps and a Water Rail.
Dam End:- 06-04-22 – There were both Redshank and Green Sandpiper at the dam.

West End:- 3 Swallows, 20 Redwings SE, 42 Herring Gulls W, Red Kite, drake Mandarin, 37 Canada Geese, 7 Greylag Geese, 2 Mute Swans, 2 Chaffinch, 1 Marsh Tit, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Goldcrest.

West End:- pair of Tufted Duck, 1 Tufted Duck x Pochard hybrid, pair of Gadwall, 2 Mute Swan, 1 Mandarin Duck, 2 Cormorant, 3 Grey Heron nests have young, 1 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Nuthatch.
Whillet’s:- 1 Kestrel, 2 Blackcap heard, 1 Chiffchaff.
Dam End:-  2 Egyptian Geese, 6 white feral geese, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Herring Gull, 1 Kestrel, 1 Buzzard, 1 Moorhen, 2 Grey Wagtail, 2 Pied Wagtail, Green Woodpecker heard, 2 Jay, Song Thrush heard, Blackcap heard, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Reed Bunting.

West End:- 11 Canada Goose, 1 Mute Swan, 4 Egyptian Goose, 1 Mandarin Duck, 7 Mallard, 2 Tufted Duck, 1 Pochard x Tufted Duck (hybrid – light coloured flanks, black front and tail. Reddish colour to head, very slight tuft. Silver grey back. Seen with male and female tufted duck), 1 Pheasant, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 25 Cormorant, 22 Grey Heron, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Magpie, 1 Carrion Crow, 3 Great Tit, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Nuthatch, 1 Wren, 1 Dunnock, 1 Chaffinch.

Dam End:- Early morning in the light rain; the Little Ringed Plover remains. At the pumping station the Black Redstart was seen, a nice male. Also 2 Blackcaps and a Swallow.

Dam End:- 3 Canada Goose, 3 Pheasant, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 31 Woodpigeon, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Cormorant, 2 Kestrel, 43 Rook, 2 Blue Tit, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap, 1 Wren, 1 Blackbird, 1 Robin, 2 Grey Wagtail, 3 Pied Wagtail.

Dam End:- Male Blackcap singing in sailing club park, 6 Black-headed Gull, 4 Chiffchaff, 1 Jay, 1 Mistle Thrush, 2 House Sparrows in ploughed field.
West End:- Male Peregrine, 6 Buzzards, 1 Kestrel, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 1 Collard Dove flew across reservoir twice.

Dam End:- Adult Black Redstart on dam, 1 Little Ringed Plover.
