Also 1 Southern Hawker Dragonfly. -

North Bank:- 3,086 Woodpigeon, 286 Redwing, 3 Mistle Thrush, 24 Stock Dove, 1 Collard Dove, 1 Bullfinch, 17 Chaffinch, 15 Meadow Pipit, 1 Blackbird, 76 Starling, 1 Grey Wagtail, 10 Goldfinch all WSW, 3 Skylark NE. Also Sparrowhawk and Jay.
West End:- 2 Gadwall.
Dam End:- f/1st w m BLACK REDSTART on Southern Water buildings, 1 Brambling E calling over sailing club car park, 11 Mistle Thrush feeding on slope behind dam, Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, 1 Siskin and 2 Lesser Redpoll in alders, Marsh Tit, Grey Wagtail, Jay, 34 Goldfinch, Song Thrush, 6 Magpie.
Lagoon:- 2 Wigeon, 2 Coot, 4 Moorhen. -

We have built a raised platform to improve views of the reed bed. It will help our recording of bird roosts, nesting and dragonflies. It should also prove popular during member visits to the meadows.
