West End:- 1 Black-headed Gull, 2 Buzzard, 4 Canada Geese, 18 Cormorant, 2 Egyptian Geese, 38 Fieldfare S, 4 Gadwall, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Chaffinch, 7 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Grey Heron, 5 Greylag Geese, 200+ Jackdaw, 2 Little Grebe, 3 Magpie, 141 Mallard, 2 Mandarin, 2 Pheasant, 1 Pied Wagtail, 1 Pintail, 1 Redwing, 1 Siskin, 18 Starling W, 34 Teal, 2050 Woodpigeon ESE.

A wet but brilliant day. Great Egret, Osprey and 11 Golden Plover over south. Osprey was at 11:15 and headed to Ashdown. The latest I’ve seen and the ninth consecutive month of sightings.

West End:- (Car Park 13.12-14.14) 71 Greylag Geese. 2 Egyptian Geese. 12 Canada Geese. 67 Mallard. 56 Teal. 2 Gadwall. 1 feral white duck. 1 Grey Heron. 7 Cormorant. 5 Black-headed Gull. 1 Kingfisher. 5 Pheasant 4f 1m. 1 Wren. 1 Carrion Crow. 4 Woodpigeon. 7 Roe Deer.

West End:- 85+Teal, 2 Gadwall, 1 Pintail, 5 Common Snipe, 25 Lapwing, 1 Meadow Pipit, 2 Pied Wagtail, 2 Mute Swan, 174 Greylag Geese, 2 Carrion Crow, 4 Egyptian Geese. 1 Fieldfare, 6 Redwing, 7 Starling, 1 Common Gull, 2 Black-headed Gull, 3 Sparrowhawk 1f 2m together, 1 Muntjac deer on north bank shoreline.

South Bank:- 1 Northern Wheatear still running around on second spit (my latest ever sighting), 2 Grey Wagtail.
West End:- 2 Dunlin, 37 Lapwing, 2 Stonechat, 50 Mallard and 96 Teal.

Whillet’s:- 69 Reed Bunting and 3 Starling out of reed bed roost shortly after first light. 19 Cormorant SW, 830 Woodpigeon SSE, 4 Siskin, 15 Redwing, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Chaffinch, 4 Bullfinch, 1 Stonechat, 4 Blackbird, 4 Wren, 2 Song Thrush.
West End:- 109 Teal, 2 Gadwall, 1 Pintail, 1 Wigeon, 2 Stonechat, 1 Dunlin, 34 Lapwing, 2 Meadow Pipit, 2 Chaffinch, 1 Treecreeper, 1430 Woodpigeon SSE, 15 Starling W, 9 Greylag Geese.
South Bank:- 1 Northern Wheatear.
Dam End:- flocks of 21 and 47 Fieldfare SSE, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 13 Redwing, 1 Mistle Thrush, 1 Pied Wagtail, 1 Grey Wagtail, 12 Goldfinch, 1 Chaffinch, 7 Meadow Pipit, 1 Skylark E.
Lagoon:- 3 Wigeon, 1 Coot, 5 Moorhen.

West End:- Pintail, Wigeon, Gadwall, 100+ Teal, Dunlin, 2 Stonechat, constant movement of Wood Pigeon over east, Treecreeper singing.
Dam End:- late Wheatear on south bank.

West End:- 4 Stonechat, 1 Dunlin, 34 Lapwing, 1 Pintail, 3 Wigeon, 92 Teal, 37 Mallard, 2 Common Snipe, 7 Pied Wagtail, 1 Meadow Pipit, 4 Cormorant, 64 Woodpigeon, 69 Starling, 18 Redwing, 1 Goldfinch, 2 Chaffinch, 15 Fieldfare WSW.

West End:- 6 Grey Heron, 1 Dunlin, 4 Lapwing, 94 Teal, pair of Gadwall, 1 Stock Dove, 1m+1f Stonechat, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker.
Whillet’s:- 1 Buzzard, 3 Redwing, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Jay, 1m Chaffinch, 1 Raven.
A Mink was clambering into a tree near the reed-bed. A male Fallow Deer was heard (rutting grunt call).  A small (probably Pipistrelle) bat was day flying hunting insects over the river. Two Common Darter dragonfly were at Meadow Pond.
