West End:- 1 Kingfisher, 1 Buzzard, 15 Teal, 4 Mandarin, 6 Swallow, 2 House Martin, 7 Lapwing, 1 Stock Dove, Nuthatch heard, 66 Canada Geese, 10+ Greylag Geese.
Dam End:- Briefly 1 Black Tern also seen by David Williams, 2 Common Sandpiper, 15 Lapwing, 7 Pied Wagtail, 120+ Black-headed Gull, 3 Herring Gull, c200 Canada band 3 feral white Geese.
Bill Truckle also saw today:  2 Greenshank at Dam End and 70 Great Crested Grebes across the whole reservoir.

West End:- Osprey for about 10 minutes around 9:15. Late afternoon Brian Mead reported a Kingfisher.
Whillet’s:- Green Sandpiper at The Pool also 2 Buzzards.

Dam End:- 152 Canada Geese, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Whitethroat, 3 Common Blue Butterflies, 1 Hornet Mimic Hoverfly.

Dam End:- 1 Osprey, 450 Black-headed Gulls, 2 Common Sandpipers, 2 Common Terns.
West End:- 1 Little Grebe, 7 Mandarins, 1 Little Egret.

Dam End:- 320 Black-headed Gull, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 10 Herring Gull, 2 Common Sandpipers, 1 Little Egret, 4 Chiffchaff.
Whillet’:s- 1 Migrant Hawker, 11 Common Darters, 4 Brown Hawkers, 3 Emerald Damselfly, 1 Blue Tail Damselfly, 1 Common Blue Butterfly, 1 Silver Y Moth.

West End:- 1 Little Egret, 1 Green Sandpiper, 4 Lapwing, 1 Little Grebe, 40+2Y Great Crested Grebe, 16 Cormorant, 4 Grey Heron, 1 Mandarin, 1 Buzzard, 3 Moorhen, 1 Stock Dove, 1 Kingfisher.
Whillet’s:- 1 Kestrel, 2 Whitethroat, 1 Wren.

Dam end:- 4 Grey Heron, 70 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag + 1 Canada/Greylag hybrid Goose, 22 Mallard, 2 Moorhen, 2 Common Sandpiper, 145 Black-headed Gull, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Herring Gull, 2 Swift, 4 Swallow, 3 House Martin, 1 Grey Wagtail.
Whillet’s:- 3 first-year Kingfishers were ringed in the morning.

West End (hide):- 2 Kingfishers about 7.30pm, sounded like juveniles, seen sparring and fishing. Also 3 Little Egrets plus Barn Swallows and House Martins. On 9th August I saw another Kingfisher about 8pm which looked like an adult.

Dam End:- 3 Common Sandpipers, 3 Little Egrets, 1 Common Gull, 8 Lapwing, 5 Common Terns, 146 Black–headed Gulls, 2 Chiffchaff, 4 Swallows,1 Sparrowhawk.

Dam End:- 2 Little Egrets, 2 Common Sandpipers, 8 Common Terns, 14 Lapwings, 3 Common Buzzards, 82 Goldfinch, 2 Reed Buntings.
