2 Egyptian Geese with 9 young,2 Little Ringed Plovers,1 Grey Wag,3 Pied Wag,16 GCG,38 Sand Martins,4 House Martins & 7 Swallows.

Quiet morning at the west end – 11 mandarin 4 GCG
3 black heads and 1 lesser black back gull
Usuals on the feeders plus a nuthatch and a greater spotted
Quite a few stock dove about

Tuesday Work Party sightings Whillet’s – 2 Lge Red Damselfly at Meadow Pond and Common Lizard.
West End – 2 Med Gulls calling, 3m Shoveler dropped in, kingfisher & Barn Swallow.
Orange tip, brimstone, green veined, peacock & holly blue bflys all seen around west end.

West end from 3.00pm. Plenty of Buzzards about and busy displaying. Female Kingfisher sat for ages close to the nesting holes. The male arrived and sat alongside her for a while before disappearing, to return 10 minutes later with a good size fish , which after some posturing he then gave to her followed by mating. Also two very vocal Marsh tits around the feeders.
