West End:- 6 Wigeon, 3 Shoveler, 1 Pochard, 15 Tufted Duck, 5 Gadwall, 1 Mute Swan, 1 Moorhen, 18 Mallard, 8 Great Crested Grebe, 23 Cormorant, 1 Greylag Goose, 1 Common Gull, 24 Black-headed Gull, 18 Herring Gull, 1 Marsh Tit, 2 Siskin, 1 Lesser Redpoll, 5 Chaffinch, 2 Goldfinch, 1 Long-tailed Tit.

West End:- 3 Snipe flying around in front of the hide, 2 Wigeon, 2 Tufted Duck, 1 Pochard and a flock of Lesser Redpolls in car park.

West End:- 1 Coot.

West End:-  The white leucistic Grey Heron was sitting on a nest, 2 other nests in the heronry also had birds sitting, 4 Gadwall, 2m+1f Tufted Duck, pair of Mandarin, 1m Pochard, 2 Egyptian Geese, 2 Snipe on Pintail bank, 2 Buzzards, 1 Raven.
Whillet’s:- 1 Kingfisher, 1 Moorhen.

West End:- 6+ Tufted Duck, multiple tits on the feeders and a young Mute Swan on the water.

Sightings whilst at Weir Wood doing the feeders this morning. The shallower parts of the reservoir at the West End had a covering of ice.
West End:-  12 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Grey Herons up at a nest in the heronry, 7 Greylag, 1 Egyptian Goose, 1 Teal, 1m Pochard, 14 Mallard, 36 Black-headed Gull standing on some partially frozen reservoir ice.
Feeders:- 1 Nuthatch, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 3 Robins, 1 Dunnock, 2 Blackbirds, 1 Marsh Tit, 8+ Blue Tit, 3+ Great Tit, 6+ Goldfinch, 2+ Chaffinch.
Whillet’s:- 1 Kingfisher, Green Woodpecker heard, 1 Wren.

West End:- 1 Firecrest in bushes by lay-by, 1 Little Egret, 1 Gadwall, 2 Tufted Duck, 2 Wigeon, 3 Marsh Tits on feeders.
The heronry was even busier today with 8 nests claimed.

WeBS – Highlights
West End:- 4 Little Grebe, 8 Great Crested Grebe (pair displaying), 27 Cormorant, 6 Gadwall, 3 Pochard, 3 Teal, 1 Mandarin, 23 Mallard, 3 Grey Heron (visiting nests), 1 Coot, 3 Moorhen, 5 Egyptian Geese, 52 Greylag, 2 Kingfishers, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 3 Buzzards, 1 Marsh Tit also 8 Fallow Deer.
Whillet’s:- 1 Barn Owl, 1 high flyover Goshawk, Water Rail and Green Woodpecker heard, 2 Bullfinch, 3 Song Thrush.  Also a Fox seen (which was limping on a front leg).
Dam end:- 1 Mute Swan, 1 Common Gull, 19 Great Crested Grebe. Also 1 Muntjac on North bank and 1 Roe Deer near Club Car Park.

West End:- 1 Little Grebe, 4 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Mute Swan, 193 Greylag, 1 Canada Goose, 3 white feral Geese, 13 Mallard, 3m Pochard, 1m+1f Gadwall, 2 Mandarin, 2 Buzzard, 1 Marsh Tit plus other usuals around feeders.
Whillet’s:- 1 Barn Owl.
