West End:- 35 House Martins, 2 Swallow, 2 Coots, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Kestrel, 1 Starling, 1 Buzzard.
Whillet’s:- 2 Stonechats, 1 Blackcap, 4 Chiffchaffs, 2 Meadow Pipits, 1 Jay, 165 Jackdaws flyover.
2 Red Admiral,1 Peacock,1 Speckled Wood, 50+ Common Darters, 6 Migrant Hawkers, 1 Southern Hawker, 4 Willow Damselfly.

West End:- A Great White Egret early morning flew in and promptly left heading south.

Great Crested Grebe, Cormorant and Mallard seen but not counted, 1 Grey Heron, 121 Greylag + 4  Greylag/white feral hybrids, 8 Canada Geese, 3 Egyptian Geese, 1 Shoveler, 1 Kestrel, 1 Peregrine flyover, 2 Coot, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 2 Stock Dove, 1 Kingfisher, 3 Swallow, 3 House Martin, 3 Wren, 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Jay, 30+ Jackdaw, 4 Crow.
Whillet’s:- 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Buzzard, 2 Goldfinch.

West End:- 7 Coots, 2 Shoveler, 2 Egyptian Geese, 1 Moorhen, 28 Mallard, 25 House Martins, 1 Jay.
Dam End:- 50 House Martins, 17 Meadow Pipits, 1 Mistle Thrush and 1 Starling flew South.
1 Jay, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Kestrel, 4 Goldfinch, 1 Chiffchaff heard.

Dam End:- midday – Still at least 3 Common Sandpipers at the dam.
West End:- Water Rail, Reed Warbler and Little Egret. Overhead lots of Jackdaws joined 2 vocal Ravens and a female Goshawk (huge bird) causing havoc.

We cleared the willows which had been obscuring views from the layby opposite Martins Island – photo taken from the layby.

West End:- 1 drake Wigeon in eclipse plumage, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Marsh Tit.

Dam:- 2 Redshanks
North Bank:- Lesser Whitethroat, Reed Warbler.
Immature male Marsh Harrier flew over heading SE; as did 20 Meadow Pipits.
1 Whitethroat.

Dam End:- 1 drake Wigeon, 1 Teal, 4 Coot, 3 Common Sandpipers, 6 Swallows, 1 Kestrel, 1 Green Woodpecker, 35 Rooks, 3 Mute Swans, 2 Moorhen, 2 Chiffchaffs, 2 Grey Wagtails, 1 Pied Wagtail, 1 Kingfisher, 4 Egyptian Geese, 2 Jays, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 27 Mallard.
Whillet’s:- 5 Common Snipe flew high west at 09:50, 1 male Kestrel, 1 Siskin, 1 Greenfinch, 2 Marsh Tit, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 10 Chiffchaffs, 2 Blackcap, 2 Bullfinch.
