A couple of hours ringing mid-morning, before the rain came, was quiet with a 1st year male Goldcrest and Blue Tits the highlights.
Other observations included: 10 Snipe, 14 Mandarin, approx. 250 Greylag Geese, Mute Swan (juv), 2 Sparrowhawk, 1 Buzzard, 2 Marsh Tit, 3 Chiffchaff, 2 Nuthatch, 1 Jay, 1 male Bullfinch, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Songthrush, 1 Gadwall and 1 Teal.
