Bird sightings from the car park during the Open Day
West End:- 10 Adult Common Terns + 8 Chicks, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Common Sandpiper, 3 Tufted Ducks, 1 Mute Swan, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Reed Warblers, 1 Grey Wagtail, 3 Pied Wagtails, 6 Lapwings, 73 Great Crested Grebes, 5 Buzzards, 2 Kestrels, 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Treecreepers, many Grey Herons, several Cormorants (some still on nests with young), flocks of Greylag Geese, Mallard and Mandarin Ducks.
