West end:- 1 Great white Egret, 1 Little Egret, 5 Coot, 2 Moorhen ,1 Little Grebe, 4 Kingfishers, 40 Mallard, 11 Teal, 26 Mandarins, Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, 2 Buzzard, 4 Meadow Pipits south, 4 Stock Dove, Feral Pigeon, Chiffchaff.

WeirWood at a calm bright dawn started at the dam. On the dam a Common Sandpiper and Bar-tailed Godwit, this only stayed for 10 minutes before flying south. Still lots of gulls inc’ an ad’ Common Gull. Also several hirundines inc’ a few House Martins and ca20 Barn Swallows. The west end held female Wigeon, 2 Gadwall, 5 Teal, Little Grebe, Kingfisher, 4 Mandarins and 2 Snipe. In the c/pk 2 Marsh Tits, a pair of noisy Nuthatches and a Redpoll over.
West end mid afternoon:- 67 Black headed Gulls, 1 Chiffchaffs, 3 Coots, 24 Cormorants, 2 Gadwall, 40 Greylags, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Little Egret, 1 Little Grebe, 12 Mallard, 15 Mandarins, 2 Moorhens, 1 Sand Martin, 1 Common Snipe, 2 Swallow, 7 Teal, 1 Wigeon.
West end – 1 f Wigeon, 2 Gadwalls (pair), 8 Teal, 11 Mandarins, 46 Greylags, 7 Canadas, 15 Mallards, 1 Little Grebe, 3 Coots, 96 BH Gulls, 9 GC Grebes, Kingfisher, Marsh Tit, Buzzard.
Dam End:- This morning 40 Grebe Crested Grebes, 8 Grey Wagtails of which 7 were on the dam with 2 Common Sandpipers. 2 Siskins flew west over water tower.
At west end 5 Teal, Kingfisher, 15 Canada geese, 3 Coot, 8 Mandarin and around 40 Mallards. Both a Lesser black backed gull and Grest black backed were present. 5 Chiffchaffs in bushes, 20 House Martins south and 2 Buzzards and Sparrowhawk noted.
Whillet’s:- 5 Greenfinch, 1 Bullfinch, 3 Siskins, 1 Marsh Tit, Kingfisher, 1 Jay, 2 Ravens, 1 Mistle Thrush, 2 Blackcaps, 15 Chiffchaffs and 5 Ivy Bees.

WeirWood on a slightly misty but calm early morning at the west end. Here a good number of Mandarins, at least 25, also Little Egret and a Snipe again on Pintail bank. Several phyllosc’s, presumably all Chiffchaffs about plus Marsh Tit and 2 Siskins. At the dam 2 Common Sands an ad’ and juv’, also 3 Jays noted on top of the dam. The usual collection of gulls were still hanging out, then as all was quiet and the mist cleared at 8:10 an Osprey appeared towards the west end. West End:- Currently 2 Ospreys sat in trees. Also 11 Teal, 24+ Mandarins, Little Grebe, 30 Mallard, 2 Sand Martins and a Kingfisher
Forgot we saw Kestrel,Sparrowhawk,3 Buzzards,Kingfisher and several Chiffchaffs too.
WeirWood was visited on a drizzly midday, it’s been quiet the last few days but here amongst the scattered gulls a juv’/1st winter Kittiwake was brilliant to see, also 50+ House Martins and fewer Barn Swallows. At the west end Kingfisher, more hirundines and 3 Snipe on Pintail bank. Plenty of phyllosc’s calling here and 2 Greenfinches in Legsheath Lane.
