West End:- 6 Spoonbills flew west at 10:45, 6 Common Buzzards, 1 Chiffchaff, 4 Egyptian Geese, 2 Goldfinch, 16 Great Crested Grebes, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 26 House Martin, 2 Jay, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Mandarin, 1 Mute Swan, 2 Sparrowhawks, 5 Swallow.
Early morning a Jay and Kingfisher added a splash of colour, quite a few Stock Doves among the plentiful Wood Pigeons. The Osprey flew over at 8:12.
West End:- A juvenile Long-tailed Skua was eventually identified – seen for over 30 minutes. A pale bird about Black-headed Gull size in flight, longer winged, with a protruding black blunt tail tip, a warmer coloured collar and just noticeable half dark, half pale thickish stubby bill on closest views. All wing coverts were pale-edged and the general base colour was greyish/brown. Also juvenile Osprey.
Dam End:- 2 Common Sandpipers on the dam.

Dam End: Just after dawn from the dam 2 Common Sandpipers and a 1st year Common Gull was new in. A small flock of 5 Little Grebes had arrived as had 7 Great Black-backed Gulls.
West End:- adult Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Tufted Duck, 5 Mandarin. The juvenile Osprey flew in at 8:18 and promptly disappeared behind the trees of the car park. 13:45 Osprey in tree near heronry. 14:00 Goshawk through.
Whillet’s:- 3 Reed Buntings and a Jay.

All Reservoir:- 39 Great Crested Grebe, 24 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 41 Mallard, 3 Jay.
Dam End:- 5 Little Grebe, 4 Mute Swan, 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 Canada Goose, 7 Egyptian Geese, 2 white feral geese, 1 Red Kite, 1 Kestrel, 90 Black-headed Gull, 1 Common Gull, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Mistle Thrush.

Dam End:- mid-morning on the dam were 2 Common Sandpipers, adult and juvenile Herring Gull, adult Great Black-backed Gull, 2 Common Gulls in with the Black-headed Gulls, 23 Golden Plover calling whilst passing over headed SW, one in almost full summer dress. On the dam Mistle Thrush, Green Woodpecker male and a few Jays coming and going. Overhead 3 chattering Fieldfares were a sign of what is to come. A few Chiffchaffs, Marsh Tit and a Goldcrest. A Whimbrel flew over also headed SW.

Dam End:- 2 Common Sandpipers on the dam. The bushes below the dam were the most productive with a few Chiffchaffs and a nice clean Willow Warbler, a Lesser Whitethroat and a Garden Warbler. By the overflow 3 Goldcrests were very vocal. On the dam slope 6 Meadow Pipits were present with a couple of Jays. More Blackbirds than normal with double figures in the bushes.
West End:- 2 Tufted Ducks and Mandarin.
