West End:- 1 juvenile Dunlin, 31 Lapwing, 135 Greylag Geese, 99 Teal, 2 Mute Swan, 1 Redwing, 1 Meadow Pipit, 2 Stonechat, 1 Pied Wagtail.

We have built a raised platform to improve views of the reed bed. It will help our recording of bird roosts, nesting and dragonflies. It should also prove popular during member visits to the meadows.

West End:- 2 juvenile Spoonbill, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 37 Lapwing, 1 Pintail, 107 Teal, 2 Common Gull, 5 Swallow SE, 50 Redwing SE, 1 Mistle Thrush N, 3 Fieldfare W, 2 Pied Wagtail, 2 Mute Swan,1 Stonechat, 5 Egyptian Geese, 3 Meadow Pipit.

Osprey over at 11:15, high up and going south, a smart juvenile bird.

West End:- 14 House Martin, 5 Linnet, 4 Redwing, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull and 2 Chaffinch flew W, 
177 Greylag Geese, 105 Teal, 9 Mandarin Duck, 21 Meadow Pipit, 30 Lapwing, 1 Red Kite, 1 Kestrel, 1 Rook, 3 Coal Tit, 1 Treecreeper, 1 Stonechat, 7 Egyptian Geese,

North Bank:- 2 Common Sandpiper.
Dam End:- 1 Reed Bunting, 1 Skylark, 2 Meadow Pipit, 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Mistle Thrush, 1 House Sparrow, 20 Great Crested Grebe, 24 Mallard, 6 Stock Dove, 2 Jay, 2 Pied Wagtail.
Lagoon:- 5 Moorhen.
West End:- 1 Little Egret, 30 Lapwing, 97 Teal, 110 Greylag Geese, 5 Meadow Pipit, 1 Stonechat, 2 Egyptian Geese, 1 Siskin, 9 Chaffinch, 7 Redwing, 2 Red Kite, 1 Buzzard, 1 Jay, 10 Grey Heron.

The birds were spooked twice; once by a female Goshawk and then by a juvenile Marsh Harrier. The harrier was seen off by the many corvids. Pintail and Teal.

Weir Wood between the showers – Ruff, several Stonechats, ca100 Teal, 2 Wigeon, Pintail and small numbers of Redwings over. A couple of Snipe appeared and a Common Sandpiper. Early afternoon in lovely sunshine, at the dam Redshank, Raven over and a female Peregrine. At the west end adult Common Gull, Redwing on the move and 23 Meadow Pipit.

West End:- Female Peregrine took a juvenile Ruff around 09:30.
