Butterflies: 18 Small Copper, 6 Common Blue, 5 Green-veined White, 4 Speckled Wood, 3 Comma, 2 Red Admiral, 1 Peacock, 1 Large White. Also 1 Vestal Moth is – New species to the reserve.
Dragonflies: 3 Southern Hawker, 2 Migrant Hawker, 10 Common Darters, 1 Azure Damselfly.

West End:- 750 House Martin, 4 Sand Martin and 17 Swallow all flew E. Spotted Flycatcher, Grey Wagtail, Little Grebe, 64 Teal, 1 Mandarin Duck, 3 Little Egret, 2 Greenshank, 4 Snipe, 35 Lapwing, 1 Mistle Thrush, 1 Hobby, 1 Kestrel, 6 Buzzard, 4 Moorhen, 1 Egyptian Goose.
Dam End:- 1 Redshank, 3 Linnet, 3 Meadow Pipit, 25 House Martin, 6 Swallow, 5 Blackcap, 5 Chiffchaff, 46 Great Crested Grebe, 10 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Grey Wagtail, 2 Wren.

Dam End:- Black Swan at the dam end, but it did not stay long.
