Dam:- 2 Common Sandpiper.
Whillet’s:- 3 Whitethroats, 2 Kingfisher, 2 Bullfinch, Buzzard carrying Grass Snake.
Dragonflies: 3 Brown Hawker, 1 Southern Hawker, 6 Migrant Hawkers, 1 Emperor, 1f Black-tailed Skimmer, 6 Common Darter, 3 Blue Tail Damselfly, 2 White-legged Damselfly, 1 Banded & 1 Beautiful Demoiselle.
Butterflies: 10 Small Skipper, 5 Large Skipper, 1 small White, 8 Green-veined White, 8 Small Copper, 5 Common Blue, 1 Holly Blue, 1 Red Admiral, 3 Peacock, 5 Comma, 1 Speckled Wood, 46 Gatekeeper, 40 Meadow Brown, 4 Ringlet, 1 Silver Y Moth. 1 fox.

Ringing in Whillet’s saw a slow movement of birds with not many juveniles around. Birds ringed included: male Reed Bunting, Whitethroats, Blackcap and Chiffchaff.
Other sightings included: Turtle Dove and Raven.

Dam End:- 1 Oystercatcher flying around calling, 1 Common Sandpiper, 5 Grey Wagtails, 5 Pied Wagtails, 3 Mute Swans, 8 Gadwall, 8 Common Terns, 1 Little Egret, 4 Swift, 2 Blackcap, 6 Chiffchaffs, 2 Whitethroat, 25 Goldfinch, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Reed Bunting, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Song Thrush, 1 Mandarin.

West End:-  1 Honey Buzzard around mid-day being mobbed by Common Terns as it flew over the reservoir.
Also:- 4 Common Tern + 1 young chick on new raft, 30 Great Crested Grebe, 7 Mandarin, 1 Little Egret, 5 Grey Heron, 1 Stock Dove. Photo David Williams.
