All reservoir counts:- 27 Cormorant, 12 Grey Heron, 15 Mandarin, 44 Mallard, 2 Kestrel, 3 Kingfisher, 25 Swallow, 2 Grey Wagtail, 2 Reed Bunting, 8 Goldfinch, 2 Reed Bunting.
Dam End:- 1+2y Little Grebe at lagoon, 5 Little Egret, 4 Canada Geese, 4 Egyptian Geese,  1 Common Sandpiper, 16 Black-headed Gull, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 10 Herring Gull, 25 Swift, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Skylark, 2 Sand Martin, 17 House Martin, 1 Yellowhammer.
West End:-  85 Great Crested Grebe, 73 Greylag, 4 Pochard, 1 Buzzard, 2 Moorhen + 1 chick, 4 Lapwing, 28 Common Tern + 8 unfledged young, 2 Stock Dove, 2 Pied Wagtail, 1 Marsh Tit.
Whillet’s:-  1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Song Thrush, 5 Chiffchaff, 5 Reed Warbler, 2 Nuthatch, 1 Treecreeper.

West End:-  83 Great Crested Grebe some birds starting nesting with 6 occupied nests seen, 52 Greylag, Pheasant chick was seen in the Car Park, 2 Moorhen (1 sitting on a nest on tern raft), 3 Lapwing, several Common Tern chicks are now starting to fledge, 1 Kingfisher, 4 Swallow, 2 Terrapins.

Whillet’s Meadows:- 1 Kestrel, 1 Kingfisher, 25 Goldfinch, Yellowhammer heard, 3m Reed Buntings plus usual warblers, Whitethroats, Chiffchaff etc.

Dragonfly and Damselfly:- 1f Beautiful Demoiselle, pair Large Red Damselfly, 25+ pairs Azure damselfly, 1f Four Spotted Chaser ovipositing, 2m Emperor & 1 Common Darter dragonflies.
Butterfly transect count highlights were:- 63 Meadow Brown, 11 Large Skipper, 2 Common Blue, 1 Small Copper, 115 Ringlet (a record count), 15 Small Skipper, 1 Painted Lady, 1 Silver Washed Fritillary fleetingly flew over the meadows, 1 Cinnabar Moth.

Moth box result from night 4/5 July:- 70 moths covering 26 species; highlights were: 1 Swallow-tailed moth, 1 Lobster moth, Large & Common Emerald, Buff Tip, 2 Minor Shoulder Knot, 1 Shoulder Striped Wainscot, 2 Obscure Wainscot.

Southern Water Lagoon:- 1 adult Little Grebe with two well grown young, Mandarin with one well grown young, 1 Bullfinch, 2 Chiffchaff, 20 House Martins, 1 Reed Bunting, 2 Little Egrets, 4 Egyptian Geese, 1 Kestrel.
West End:- 13 Mandarin, 80 Great Crested Grebes, 90 Greylag Geese, 10 Lapwings.

West End:- 19 young Common Tern now with two fledged and flying, 2 adults still on eggs, 70 Great Crested Grebes with four birds nesting and one large juvenile, 10 Lapwings, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Little Egret, 8 Grey Heron, 12 Mandarin, 1 Herring Gull, 3 Black-headed Gull, 2 Pied Wagtail, 2 Stock Doves, 70 Greylag Geese, 2 Common Buzzards, 1 singing Reed Warbler.
Whillet’s:- 2 Reed Buntings carrying food, 1 Garden Warbler carrying food, 10+ Whitethroats, Reed Warbler singing in third meadow, 1 male Yellowhammer singing, 45 Goldfinch, 1 Kestrel, 1 Chiffchaff singing and adult feeding 4 fledged young.
Female Black-tailed Skimmer, 2 Emperors, 1 Cinnarbar Moth, 94 Meadow Brown and 67 Ringlets.

West End:- 10 Lapwings, Pied Wagtail, Common Sandpiper, Little Egret, Great Crested Grebes and Common Terns on nests, Reed Warblers.
