West End:- Osprey sat in tree opposite the hide from 14:00 to 14:30.

West End:- afternoon – 7 Mute Swan, 2 Greenshank flying in front of viewing area and calling. 1 Common Sandpiper, 68 Greylag + 4 white feral/Greylag hybrid, 20 Canada Geese, 2 Mandarin, 1f Tufted Duck, 6 Coot, 90+ 3 juv Black-headed Gull, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1+2 imm Herring Gull, 1 Stock Dove, 12 Swallow, 1 Chiffchaff, 6+ Long-tailed Tit, 1 Treecreeper, 2 Rook flyover. Also 20+ Jackdaw and some Crows on surrounding fields. Good numbers of Mallard, several Cormorant, Great Crested Grebe and Grey Heron.

Also – 1 Terrapin, 1 Peacock Moth (new species for the reserve)

Also 1 Stag Fallow Deer, 4 Grass Snake under tins.
Butterfly count:- 12 Meadow Brown, 5 Speckled Wood, 2 Comma, 1 Large Skipper (fresh), 5 Common Blue, 1 Brown Argus (worn), 6 Small Copper, 9 Gatekeeper, 9 Green-veined White, 2 Holly Blue, 1 Brown Hairstreak.
Damselflies: 15+ Willow Emerald
Dragonflies: 2 Southern Hawker, 1 Migrant Hawker, 1 Brown Hawker, 3+ Common Darter. -

Dam End:- Osprey hunting over reservoir mid-afternoon, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Lapwing, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 80 Black-headed Gull, 100 Canada Geese, 1 Moorhen, 10 Mallard, 13 Pied Wagtail, 65 Goldfinch, 2 Swallow, 3 House Martin, 1 Blackcap, 11 Chiffchaff and 6 Willow Warbler in Silver Birches in sailing club car park.
1 Silver-Washed Fritillary,1 Holly Blue,1 Purple Hairstreak.
West End:- 65 Mallard, 4 Teal, 2 Mandarin Duck, 3 Coot, 2 Common Sandpiper, 7 Mute Swan, 18 Great Crested Grebe.
