All Reservoir: 26 Great Crested Grebe, 10 Mallard, 3 Grey Heron, 3 Goldcrest, 12 Long-tailed Tit, 6 Marsh Tit, 3 Nuthatch, 4 Jay, 3 Chaffinch, 6 Bullfinch.
Dam End:- 9 Canada Geese, 3 white farmyard geese, 31 Black-headed Gull, 1 Herring Gull, 5 Stock Dove, 440 Wood Pigeon migration flew south, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Mistle Thrush, 10 Rook, 3 Crow, 5 Siskin and 18 Redpoll.
West End:- 40 Cormorant, 25 Greylag, 2 Gadwall, 7 Pochard, 5 Tufted Duck, 1 Red Kite, 1 Goshawk, 5 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 5 Coot, 5 Common Gull, 1 Collared Dove flyover, 2 Kingfisher, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 24 Fieldfare, 49 Redwing, 2 Treecreeper, 1 Coal Tit, 2 Raven, (20 Goldfinch and 30 Siskin feeding on Alders in study area).
Whillet’s:- 1 Little Egret and 7 Egyptian Geese and 4 Mandarin Duck were all flyovers, 3 Teal, 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Water Rail heard, 1 Moorhen heard, 1 Woodcock flyover, 1 Barn Owl, Tawny Owl heard, 4760 Starling and 18 Reed Bunting came in and roosted at the reedbed between 14:20 & 16:15. 8 Field Voles whilst checking some refugia tins.

Whillet’s:- Little Egret flyover, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Buzzard, Tawny Owl heard.
From 15:20 to 16:20 at least 4,375 Starlings came into the reed bed in 42 various-size flocks from 1500 down to a few hundred with many smaller flocks of 10 to 50. The overall total came to 4375.
It was difficult to pick out Reed Buntings from the Starling flocks but at least 12 came in over the period. -

Whillet’s:- Between 15:00-16:00 total of 43 Reed Buntings and 6,300 Starlings roosted at the Reedbed. 2 Moorhen and 2 Water Rail heard. 40 Redwing, 2 Little Egret, 3 Siskin, 1 Buzzard, 11 Goldfinch and 120 Black-headed Gulls flew over. In 2nd Meadow a JACK SNIPE flushed up from wet area, 4 Egyptian Geese, 8 Mandarin and 4 Teal flew up river at dusk. At least 2 Tawny Owl heard and 2 Fieldfare seen.A Kingfisher flew along the river.
