West End:- late morning: 2 Great White Egrets, 13 or 14 Snipe, Egyptian Goose, Green Sandpiper, Kingfisher. Good numbers of Teal, Greylag Geese, Lapwings and Pheasants. The usual Grey Herons, Cormorants, Great Crested Grebes, Mallard and Black-headed Gulls.

West End:- 1 Great White Egret (see photos), 2 Grey Heron, 56 Great Crested Grebe, 28 Cormorant, 64 Greylag, 8m+5f Mandarin, pair of Gadwall, 44 Teal, 33 Mallard, 2 Buzzard, 8 Moorhen, 46 Lapwing, 18 Snipe, 6 Stock Dove, 2 Kingfisher, 1 Great-spotted Woodpecker, 1 Pied Wagtail, 4 Mistle Thrush, c.70 flyover Jackdaw. (Also 1 Red-legged Partridge seen on Legsheath Lane).

West End:- 1 Little Grebe, 1 Great White Egret, 2 Egyptian Geese – also 2 Yellowhammers in field opposite layby.      Dam End:- 1F Pintail.
Whillet’s:- 20 Chaffinch.

West End:- 1 Great White Egret, 1 Green Sandpiper, 7 Snipe, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Coot, 3 Kingfishers, 1 Grey Wagtail, 2 Gadwall, 30 Lapwing, 46 Teal, 60 Starling flew over.
Dam End:- 1 Common Sandpiper, 2m Tufted Duck, 3 Swallows, 155 Starlings flew over, 1 Skylark flew over, 34 Meadow Pipits, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Jay, 6 Redwing.

46 Teal, 30 Lapwing, 12 Snipe, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Green Sandpiper, Kingfisher, Great White Egret, 2 Gadwall, 5 Tufted Duck, a Mandarin Duck on reservoir escorted by 2 drakes and another duck flew in with 8 drakes following her.

West End:- 1 Great White Egret, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Snipe, 2 Shoveler, 2 Gadwall, 2 Kingfisher, 2 Mandarin, 49 Teal, 1 Coot, 1 Fox, 28 Lapwing, 2 Buzzards.

1 Great White Egret, 4 Grey Heron, 7 Mandarin, 2 Gadwall, 39 Teal, 31 Mallard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Kestrel, 1 Buzzard, 1 Coot, 50 Lapwing, 16 Snipe, 1 Green Sandpiper, 3 flyover Common Gull, 3 Kingfisher, 1 flyover Grey Wagtail, 3 Pied Wagtail.
Also seen by Work Party – 2 Barn Owls.

WeBS Counts
All reservoir counts:-  72 Great Crested Grebe, 16 Cormorant, 10 Grey Heron, 37 Mallard, 13 Moorhen, 11 Lapwing, 3 Kingfisher, 2 Grey Wagtail, 13 Pied Wagtail.
Dam End:-  52 Black-headed Gull, 1 Common Gull, 5 Herring Gull, 7 Meadow Pipit and 2 Wheatear on dam wall, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Jay, Raven heard, also a Fox.
West End:- 1 Great White Egret, 4 Mute Swan, 10 Greylag, 11 Canada Geese, 12 Mandarin, pair of Gadwall, 1 Feral Magpie Duck, 31 Teal, 3 Buzzard, 2 Kestrel, 1 Coot, 13 Snipe, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Common Sandpiper, unusually 26 Magpies seen at roost.
Also 17 Redwing at Whillets, 1 Green and 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker seen on North bank.

West End Car Park:- 1 Great White Egret, 10 Greylag Geese, 11 Canada Geese, 10 Cormorant, 12 Mallard 7M 5F, 2 Gadwall pair, 12 Teal, 9 Mandarin 6M 3F, 7 Great Crested Grebe, 4 Grey Heron, 9 Lapwing, 9 Snipe, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 3 Kingfisher, 2 Grey Wagtail, 1 Pied Wagtail, 3 Long-tailed Tits, 2 Dunnock, 1 Wren, 1 Robin, 2 Carrion Crow, 6 Pheasant, 2 Black-headed Gull, numerous Woodpigeons.

West End Hide:- Great White Egret, 3 Kingfisher, 5 Grey Heron, Robin, Wren, 2 Buzzard (they seem to be taking twigs to the right hand Osprey tower?), 10 Lapwing, 4 Magpie, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Mandarin.
