West End: 2 Little Grebe, 144 Greylag, 26 Canada Geese, 4 + 8 flyover Mandarin, 37 Gadwall, 42 Teal, 25 Mallard, 19 Pheasant, 6 Moorhen, 48 Lapwing, 4 Stock Dove, 2 GS Woodpecker, 2 Coal Tit, 1 Nuthatch.

West End:- 5 Little Grebes, 51 Lapwing, 2 Mandarin, 13 Gadwall, 22 Teal, 16 Fieldfare.

Whillet’s:- 140 Reed Buntings roosted in reed bed between 15:00-16:10. 17 Teal flying around, 150 Starlings flew over, 1 Redwing, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Marsh Tit.
West End:- 23 Gadwall, 3 Shoveler, 25 Teal, 1m Tufted Duck, 1 Marsh Tit, 1 Fieldfare, 7 Common Gulls, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1m Kestrel.

West End:- 4m Pochard, 3m+1f Tufted Duck, 29 Teal, 13 Gadwall, 1f Shoveler, 1 Marsh Tit, 14 Lapwing, 3 Stock Dove.

West End:-  This morning the shallower areas in front of the hide were frozen with ice, with most of the waterfowl mainly sheltering under the trees where there was open water. Counts:  6 Moorhen, 1 Grey Heron, 1m Mandarin, 1f Tufted Duck, 13 Gadwall, 54 Teal, 6 Shoveler, 19 Mallard, 1 Buzzard, 3 Kingfisher, 2 Stock Dove, 2 Common Gull.  Feeders: Usual Blue & Great Tits, singles of Great Spotted Woodpecker, Nuthatch, Marsh Tit, Coal Tit, Blackbird, 2+ Goldfinch, 6 Long-tailed Tits, 4+ Chaffinch, 2 Robins also a Treecreeper was seen nearby and a Song Thrush at Whillet’s.
Dam End:- No ice but a cold wind; a short visit showed little of real interest –  46 Great Crested Grebe, 42 Cormorant, c110 Black-headed Gull, 1 juv Herring Gull, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Jay, 1 Grey Heron.

Whillet’s:- 159 Reed Buntings roosted in reed bed between 15:00-16:20 this afternoon. 500 Starlings flew over, 2 Siskins, 3 Goldfinch, 4 Redwings, 2 Fieldfare, 12 Long-tailed Tits.
West End:- 51 Cormarants.

West End:- 44+ Black-headed Gull, 5+ Blue Tit, Coal Tit, 8 Cormorant, 5 Goldfinch, 3 Great Tit, 3 Grey Heron, 2 Jackdaw, 3 Magpie, 4 Mandarin Duck, 3 Moorhen, Robin, Shoveler, 6 f Teal, 3 Woodpigeon, Blackbird, 2 Chaffinch, Coot, 2 pair Gadwall, 3 Great Crested Grebe, Green Sandpiper, 105+ Greylag Goose, 2 Kingfisher, 7 Mallard, Marsh Tit, 2 Nuthatch, 2 Rook, 4 Starling and 2 Water Rail on north bank opposite.
