    Dam End:- Mid afternoon 2 Little Gulls came in from the SE at 15:05 (picked on on call) then flew through W, Green Sandpiper and Common Sandpiper on Dam, 4 Lesser Black-backed Gulls flew E, Red Kite over South Bank, 50 Swallows, 20 House Martins, 10 Sand Martins and Swifts over the reservoir.

    West End:- 1 Garden Warbler, 2+ Blackcap and Chiffchaff all singing, nesting confirmed for: Blue and Great Tit, Wren, Nuthatch, Treecreeper, Stock Dove (2 chicks ringed), Mandarin, Jackdaw and Tawny Owl.  3 pairs of Common Terns at rafts. Both Grey Heron and Cormorants now have young visible in the heronry. The white leucistic Grey Heron was seen at a nest with a normally-plumaged bird. 2 Little Egrets were seen at the heronry but not at a nest.  1 Marsh Tit, pair of Greylag, several Mallards, Great Crested Grebes and Canada Geese.  More unusual plants seen in flower were Marsh Marigold, Marsh Valerian and Adderstongue Fern.
    Whillets:- 2 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 5 Whitethroat (singing), 3+ Reed Warbler singing at reed bed, pair of Reed Bunting noted, Long-tailed Tit, Goldcrest,  Chiffchaff and Crow. Butterfly transect – up to 6 Orange Tip, pair of Brimstone, 1 Comma, 3 Peacock.

    Dam End:- Following all seen on Dam ~ 2 Bar-tailed Godwits, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Greenshank, 1 Common Sandpiper.

    Dam End:- 10 Swift, 10 Swallow, 1 Sand Martin, 3 House Martin, 5 Buzzard, 2 Raven, 60 Herring Gull flew E, 7 Lesser Black-backed Gull flew E, 5 Common Tern, 3 Lapwing flew W.
    West End:- 1 Little Egret.

    Dam End:- 10 Bar-tailed Godwits (2 in summer plumage) on Dam, 1 Oystercatcher on Dam, 1 Greenshank on Dam, 1 Redshank on Dam, 1 Dunlin on Dam, 1 Little Ringed Plover on Dam, 1 Common Sandpiper on Dam, 1 Whimbrel flew through E calling, 2 Mediterranean Gulls flew through high E, 1 Arctic Tern, 6 Common Terns, 1 male Yellow Wagtail E, 1 Grey Wagtail, 3 Egyptian Geese, 1 Mandarin, 1 Sand Martin, 6 Swallows, 3 Common Swifts, 1 Kestrel, 1 Red Kite, 1 immature female Goshawk hunting Terns low over the Reservoir, 6 Buzzards.
    Whillet’s:- 1 Garden Warbler, 3 Reed Warblers, 5 Whitethroats, 3 Blackcaps, 3 Chiffchaffs, 1 Little Egret flew E, 1 Jay.

    West End:- 2 Greenshank, 2 Common Terns, 1 Coot.
    Whillet’s:- 2 Reed Warblers.
    Dam End:- 4 Common Sandpiper, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Arctic Terns, 3 Common Terns, 4 Pied Wagtail.

    Dam End:- Osprey over Dam early morning, 3 Sandwich Terns E at 07:28. Later 8 Common Terns and 2+ Arctic Terns. Whitethroat below Dam.

    Dam End:- 6 Whimbrel flew low through reservoir E over Dam at 10:30, 4 Common Terns, 2 Coots, 2 Egyptian Geese, 4 Pied Wagtails, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 7 Herring Gulls, 2 Goldfinch, 1 Treecreeper, 3 Tufted Duck, 30 House Martins, 30 Sand Martins and 40 Swallows.

    West End (11:00 – 11:45):- Egyptian, Greylag, and Canada Geese (two of each); singles of Mandarin (m),  Swallow, and Tern (presumably Common). Nuthatch and the usual Great Crested Grebes, Herons, Cormorants, and Mallards.
