    Dawn produced the Osprey at 6:40 briefly, Redshank, a pair of Tufted Duck and group of Common Terns. There is extensive mud; hopefully, it will stay like this for the summer.

    Whillet’s:- 4 Large Red-eyed Damselfly, 1 White-legged Damselfly, 1 Blue-tailed Damselfly, 5 Large Red Damselfly, 20 Azure Damselfly, 2 Beautiful Demoiselle.
    2 Orange Tips, 2 Green-veined White, 2 Speckled Wood, 1 Small Copper, 3 Mother Shipton Moth, 2 Burnett Campion Moth. 6 Grass Snake.

    Dam End:- 3 Ringed Plover, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 26 Mandarins + 6 ducklings, 7 Swift, 1 Jay, 3 Swallow, 10 House Martins, 2 Mistle Thrush, 4 Pied Wagtails, 3 Hobby, 1 Kestrel.
    West End:- 3 Lapwings, 1 Red Kite.

    Dam End – North Bank:- 2 Egyptian Geese + 8 young gosling, 2 Buzzard, 1 Hobby, 1 Swallow, Garden Warbler heard. Mayflies were very abundant. 17 Fallow Deer on South Bank.
    West End:- 31 Canada Geese including a Canada/Barnacle hybrid, 5 Egyptian Geese, 2 Mandarin, 4 Lapwing, 12 Common Tern.
    Whillets:-  1 Jay, Heard – Song Thrush, Reed Warbler, 2 Whitethroat, Garden Warbler, 2 Blackcap, 2 Whitethroat, Chiffchaff, Wren, Nuthatch.  Pair of Beautiful Demoiselle, 1 Downy Emerald dragonfly, 3+ pairs of Red-eyed Damselflies, 3+ pairs of Large Red Damseflies, 2 Blue-tailed damselflies, 20+ Azure damselflies.   3m+1f Orange Tip, 2 Green-veined White, 1 probable Small White. 1 Burnet Companion moth.

    Dam End:- Osprey between 08:00-08:45, Kingfisher, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 2 Common Sandpipers, 4 Lapwings, 2 Swifts, 3 Swallows, 3 Hobbies, 1 Kestrel, 4 Buzzard, 2 Tufted Duck, 22 Mandarins + 6 ducklings, 3 Grey Wagtails, 4 Egyptian Geese + 8 goslings, 2 Moorhens, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 5 Black-headed Gull.

    Early – Little Stint, 2 Little-ringed Plovers, 2 Common Sands, 25+ male Mandarins, 14 Black-headed Gulls along the north bank from the dam, 3 Lapwing over and a dozen Common Terns.

    South Bank:- 6 Hobbies over South Bank, 1 Lapwing, 6 Swifts, 2 Swallows, 6 Mandarin, 10 Black-headed Gulls, 4 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 1 Jay.
    All reservoir:- 52 Mallard, 10 Egyptian Geese plus 8 Gosling, 13 Common Terns.

    Dam End:-  2 Mute Swan, 5 white feral farmyard geese, 10+6y Greylag, 20+1y Canada Geese, 2+8y Egyptian Geese,  4m+2f Tufted Duck, 1 Kestrel, 2 Hobby, 6 Black-headed Gull, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Herring Gull, 14 Swift, 4 House Martin, 3 Grey Wagtail, 4 Pied Wagtail, 5 Crow, 2 Goldfinch.
    West End:- 57 Cormorant,  22 Grey Heron, 3 Egyptian Geese, 1 white feral farmyard duck, 1 Moorhen, 2 Lapwing, 13 Common Tern, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Reed Warbler, 1 Nuthatch.
