    West End:- 1m+1f Shoveler, 13 Mandarin, 27 Mallard, 1 Moorhen, 8 Greylag Geese, 13 Great Crested Grebe, 10 Lapwing, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Kingfisher, 6 Common Tern, 3 Black-headed Gulls, 2 Pied Wagtails, 3 Swallow, 1 Blackcap, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Jay, 6 Magpie.


    Dam End:- 2 Hobby, 15 Swift, 1 House Martin, 3 Black-headed Gulls, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 40 Mallard, 1 Grey Wagtail.

    West End:- 7 Greylag Goose, 9 Canada Goose, 2 Mandarin Duck, 20 Mallard, 1 Pheasant, 5 Great Crested Grebe, 4 Woodpigeon, 5 Lapwing, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 3 Black-headed Gull, 8 Common Tern, 52 Cormorant, 13 Grey Heron,
    1 Osprey — frequently seen at reservoir this year. Juvenile bird. Clear markings with good view. Flew in from Whillet’s along towards the dam. Escorted by 3 Black-headed Gulls. 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Kestrel, 1 Hobby, 1 Jay, 3 Magpie, 19 Jackdaw, 6 Rook, 3 Carrion Crow, 1 Marsh Tit, 3 Blue Tit, 1 Great Tit, 1 Barn Swallow, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Blackcap, 1 Whitethroat, 2 Wren, 2 Blackbird, 1 Pied Wagtail, 1 Chaffinch.

    A colourful dawn – Tawny Owl, Little Ringed Plover, it looks like the Common Terns have failed to breed. At 5:20 an Osprey appeared over mid reservoir failing to catch breakfast and 2 Hobbies were perched up. The Osprey gave prolonged views until it caught a fish at 5:50 and drifted off towards Ashdown.

    Dam End:- 4 Greylag Goose, 38 Canada Goose, 12 Egyptian Goose – 2 adults with 8 young + 2 adults, 1 Mandarin Duck, 3 Mallard, 6 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Woodpigeon, 1 Swift, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Common Tern, 1 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel, 2 Hobby, 2 Magpie, 3 Carrion Crow, 1 Sand Martin, 4 Barn Swallow, 1  House Martin, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Blackcap, 1 Grey Wagtail, 5 Pied Wagtail, 1 Chaffinch.

    8 Hobbies, plenty of Swifts and a dozen Common Terns. Unusually a Greenshank was on the north bank with 3 Little Ringed Plovers. Best were the 2 Honey Buzzards at 10:40.

    Over 200 Swifts just after dawn, plus a few House Martins, Swallows and 3 Sand Martins, 3 Little Ringed Plovers, 2 Hobbies and a rather dapper Dunlin on the dam until the workmen arrived.

    3 Little Ringed Plovers, 2 Little Egrets, Red Kite over, 12 Common Terns, many Mandarins, a Cuckoo flew over and at least 6 Hobbies.

    Dam End:- 6 Greylag Goose — 2 adults, 4 young, 5 Canada Goose, 10 Egyptian Goose — 2 adults, 8 young, 1 Mandarin Duck, 19 Mallard — 17 adults, 2 young, 9 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Swift, 1 Herring Gull, 6 Common Tern, 1 Arctic Tern flying with commons, 4 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Red Kite, 2 Common Buzzard, 5 Hobby, 3 Carrion Crow, 6 Barn Swallow, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Wren, 2 Grey Wagtail, 1 Pied Wagtail.
