At the dam just Blackcap and Chiffchaffs this morning plus 6 Long tail tits in the bushes.
On the dam Green Woodpecker, 2 Pied wagtails and 2 Common Sandpipers.
Over the water 80 each of House Martin and Swallows plus 4 Sand Martins.
Little Egret flew east and 2 Ravens went west.
West end 2 more Common Sandpipers, Great Black Backed gull another Little Egret, 3 Moorhens and 26 Great crested grebes.
A very showy Sedge warbler at the Reed bed.
Whillets another Sedge warbler in meadow two,Bullfinch, Chiffchaffs and Green Woodpecker.

Dam End. Juv Wheatear, still 2 Common Sandpipers, Great Black Backed Gull, 3 Grey Wagtails by the outflow, Whitethroat, Blackcaps and plenty of Chiffchaffs, 20 Swallows, 6 House Martins. Still no Grasshopper Warbler at the site for me☹️

Afternoon still the 2 Common Sandpipers on dam plus Great Black Backed gull.
Brief Greenfinch in horse paddock, only warblers were Chiffchaffs and Blackcaps.
1 Swallow with 20 House Martins, Bullfinch heard.
Whillet’s:- 2 Whitethroats, Kestrel, Marsh Tit, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Bullfinch heard again.
Other bits 3 Common Lizards, 2 Grass Snakes, 2 Large Whites, 4 Green veined Whites, 2 Southern Hawkers and a Rush veneer Moth.

WeirWood late morning. Just visited the dam today. Still 2 Common Samds on the dam. 2 Black Terns dropped in at 11:30 and promptly flew towards the west end. 3 Common Terns also did the same a short while later. A look around the area below the dam again produced Whitethroat, Blackcap and the same or another Grasshopper Warbler by the orange structure next to the overflow. In the overflow another Common Sandpiper and 3 Grey Wagtails.

Hard going this afternoon in the strong breeze but I flushed a Grasshopper warbler up from beside path in Whillet’s, which then posed for a few seconds in the Gost willow then dived deep inside never to be seen again.
Only other bird was a male Kestrel.
In the narrows Kingfisher, Reed warbler, Willow warbler, 4 Chiffchaffs and some Long tailed tits.
West end just 3 Lapwings,GBB gull and a Marndarin.
At the dam still the 2 Common Sandpipers, 6 Pied Wagtails, Moorhen, 2 Sand Martins and 20+ Swallows.

WeirWood from 6:25. At the dam still 2 Common Sands plus 4 Common Terns that inc’ 2 juv’, 2 ad’ Great Black-backed Gulls again with 154 Black-headed Gulls. On top of the dam a nice juv’ Wheatear was seen and at 6:50 an Osprey appeared over the north bank quite distantly though. It didn’t catch a fish on this outing. Below the dam was quite productive with 3 Blackcap, 4 Whitethroat, juv’ Bullfinch, Sedge Warbler, again and best of all a Grasshopper Warbler in bushes and grass by the overflow.
