West End: 2 Green Sandpipers, 1 Little Egret, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Lapwing, 48 Great Crested Grebe, 12 Mandarin, 1 Buzzard, 2 Stock Dove, 2 pairs of Common Terns at the rafts.

Dam End:  9 Common Terns, 1 Little Tern, 1 Grey Wagtail, Common Sandpiper, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 8 Pied Wagtail,1 Mistle Thrush,3 Goldfinch,3 Bullfinch,3 House Martins,1 Common Whitethroat, Blue-Tailed Damselfly and Common Damselfly.

Whillet’s: An unusual find was a Blood-vein Moth seen by day in vegetation. There are now more Meadow Brown butterflies with 18 noted on the transect count.
