A single Wigeon and 2 of Gadwall and Tufted Duck were still around in chilly conditions. Marsh Tit was on the feeders. WeirWood on a beautiful early morning, no coat today. There were 4 Little Egrets in the heronry which I found very interesting, they did fly off together eventually, also pair of Kingfishers looking interested in the bank opposite the hide. The redhead Goosander was about and 2 Sand Martins were noted near the canoeist beach, flying high and disappearing towards the dam. 2 Snipe were flushed from Pintail bank by something whilst on the feeders 2 Marsh Tits were noted. 2 Buzzards were sort of displaying over the north bank and just a single male Tufted Duck was noted with little else of note duckwise. At the dam it was practically birdless with nothing of note sadly. I left at 9:45
