West End:- 7 x Canada Goose, 4 x Egyptian Goose, 9 x Mandarin Duck, 3 x Mallard, 1 x Common Pheasant, 1 x Stock Dove, 2 x Common Woodpigeon, 1 x Eurasian Coot, 6 x Great Crested Grebe, 22 x Great Cormorant, 33 x Grey Heron, 2 x Common Buzzard, 1 x Common Kingfisher, 1 x Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 x Common Magpie, 1 x Carrion Crow, 1 x Coal Tit, 8 x Eurasian Blue Tit, 4 x Great Tit, 4 x Common Chiffchaff, 1 x European Robin, 1 x Dunnock, 2 x Common Chaffinch, 1 x European Goldfinch

West End (PM):-2 Great Black Backed gulls chased off 2 Lesser Black Backed gulls for rafts, pair of Wigeon, 3 Mandarins and a male adult Goshawk hunting.

Also a male Reed Bunting infront of the hide

West end (AM):- showed Great White & Little Egret at heronry.
Whillet’s:- Reed-bed had a Water Rail wandering around the island vegetation also nearby a Moorhen. Green Woodpecker heard.

Dam end (PM):- 1 winter plumage Little Gull between 13:30-14:00 then flew off NE, 1 Black headed Gull, 8 Great Crested Grebes, 8 Egyptian Geese, 20 Canada Geese, 3 Greylag Goose, Pied Wagtail, 2 Mistle Thrush, 3 Chiffchaffs, 2 Mandarin ducks, 2 Long tailed tits, 25 Rooks, 1 Jay.
West end(PM):- Great white egret, 5 Shoveler, 5 Gadwall, 8 Mandarins, 2 Teal, 1 Wigeon, Marsh Tit

Dam End:- WeirWood on a damp and gloomy dawn was still pretty good with 2 beautiful ad’ Little Gulls with an ad’ Kittiwake briefly before flying off north at 7:25.

West End:- Great and 3 Little Egrets noted plus 2 pairs of Shovellers and at least 8 Mandarins. Along Legsheath Lane towards the junction some 45 Fieldfares in the trees chattering away, a couple of Redwings and 2 Redpolls. Several Chiffchaffs were noted in the area now

West End (PM):- Great White Egret feeding on pintail bank then flew into roost at Heronry.
2 Wigeon, 3 Mandarin, Kingfisher, 8 Great Crested grebes, 2 Lesser Black Backed gulls on rafts, Chiffchaff, 2 Buzzards and a very high Hirundine sp North.

Whillets:- Water rail, kingfisher, Mistle thrush, pair of Mandarin, 2 Marsh Tits but quite aggressive territorial behaviour, with song, so may have been males?

Didn’t manage to find any Jack snipe.

West end (PM):- 1 Goshawk, 8 Mandarins, 1 Wigeon, 1 Tufted Duck, 2 Teal, Marsh Tit, Red Kite, Lesser Black Backed gull, Black headed gull, 3 Moorhens, 4 Great Crested Grebes, 7 Stock doves, Chiffchaff (singing), Green woodpecker heard only.
Dam end:- 2 Little ringed plovers, Chiffchaff,7 Great Crested Grebes, 4 Buzzards, 23 Canada geese.

Dam End (Early PM):- 2 Little Ringed Plover.
